  1. Why are you all arguing?
  2. When I had my T-Flight, the Spitfire was a pain to aim. Now, with my T-16000M, it's a breeze.
  3. This would explain a lot, thanks
  4. Eyyyy I guess right haha
  5. It does increase RPM, but the governor will only allow it to rise up to 3000RPM. From there, as you increase the throttle further, the pitch of the blades will increase, instead of the RPM. The throttle just controls the air let into the carb via a butterfly valve. I can't say much on the mixture though. Hitting the maintenance manual PDFs is your best bet for that. At a guess, the mixture of fuel/air is proportional to the amount of air allowed into the carburetor (by the throttle and butterfly valve).
  6. In layman's terms: The throttle is your gas pedal The prop pitch is your stick. Someone like Buzz could explain it better.
  7. Well, your comment was very off topic. @Graf, I have noticed it, but not after the WWII update. I must not have given it any attention. This is rather strange, actually, because I found in the modelviewer that there is a control that WILL give the propeller a volume from the side. But...I never see it ingame. Just like I've never ever seen those exhaust flame effects ingame either, yet there they are in the MV.
  8. ?
  9. Hmm. I think this should be moved to the bug reports section. If there isn't already a post there, one should be made. [emoji1303]
  10. I haven't had this problem. [emoji848]
  11. +1 the Spit's propeller looks pretty good, would like to see the same effect on the Mustang
  12. I think deadzone would only be necessary if you have a heavy stick, like the TM WT. I used the T-Flight and now the T-16000M(I luv it), both light sticks, and there was and still is no need for it.
  13. ED is doing some revamp on cooling, and by what I've read from a comment from Yo Yo, it's going to be very in-depth. I would imagine this would be one of the issues fixed with this.
  14. Already being done
  15. Opposite here. Don't care much for a Crusader. Never heard of it before M3 mentioned it. I'm all for a Corsair though.
  16. Honestly, a free WWII map would be the smartest move. If the free map should be anything good, it should be a WWII one. This would definitely drag some more people into DCS WWII.
  17. That still leaves 1 through 6
  18. Also Silver, you can't deny that such a window is extremely narrow as it is. Being built specifically for D-day looks short-sighted. We don't even have aircraft that fit the theater, so why be so restrictive on the map?
  19. Being the first WWII map to DCS, it was very important that it be good. WWII in DCS won't grow if it won't be nurtured. One of the biggest reason that nobody flies on that map is not because it's fit for WWII, but because everyone has stutters or low frame rate, like I do. The Caucasus, with more trees, runs far better.
  20. That does not mean it should be limited to just D-day. No map is used for a specific time frame it may be intended for. It is a place for mission creators to get creative. A winter texture is a must. Bye
  21. I never said a thing about adding more landscape at all.
  22. Normandy is completely abandoned at present. UGRA left it disgracefully unfinished in pursuit of a Syria map. And that's not speculation.
  23. So...how is this coming along?
