Helios can be used with a simple mouse and a regular monitor. No need for a touchscreen. In fact, most times I use the mouse with my touchscreen.

Your training missions are fantastic and easy to follow, although I have done Mission 4 three times. I have found the cockpit a little hard to see when flying so your missions has inspired me to do a Helios profile for the skyhawk. I have attached a very early version of the profile. I was able to reproduce the radar on my second monitor and have added a number of buttons for navigation, etc. When we get into weapons and other stuff, I am sure my layout will change. There is still a lot of work to be done on the profile. Interestingly, I could not find a key command for the magnetic variance encoder. I will be trying this profile out with your mission 4 later today.

I am slowly progressing on my skyhawk Helios profile. I created a number of toggle switches with text boxes above and below the toggle switches. I used a black bezel with everything in the bezel . The problem is that the toggle switches show up when I start the profile, but although the text boxes appear, the text inside the boxes are not showing. The text boxes have the little eye showing in the layers column. What am I doing wrong?

I want to do two things with 1.6, but having issues. first, I want to figure out how to do a cutout for a viewport for the skyhawk radar. second, how do I do simple key commands for buttons for a new Helios profile for the Skyhawk. Both seem to be hard to do in 1.6.

Rudel_chw: User error. For some reason my wheel brakes were still on even though I thought I had released them. Changed the toe brakes to act as a slider and they worked without an issue. These lessons were sorely needed. Now on to mission 3.

I have downloaded the latest versions of the missions and Mod. In mission 2, I cannot seem to get the jet to move towards the catapult even when I go to 100% power. Also what is the normal position for NWS? I have the super carrier installed.

I am using your second profile as I like to have the HMCS in the list as well as the boat switch. The only change that I made was for china hat long "slave TGP to SPI" I think that is the correct command.

I would like to edit the right lua files for the HMCS so that I can set defaults for Programs 1 and 2 that are to my liking. However, I cannot seem to find the lua file that I would need to do this too. Any thoughts>

Taz1004 For some reason, your black is very washed out so I am going back to your green. Oh well.

I use Helios so I do not need so much of the cockpit in my main monitor. I would like the HUD to be about 2 inches lower down so less of the cockpit is showing in the default F1 view. Any suggestions on how to change the default view changed? I never have any luck using snap views when I tried that method.

PlainSight I was trying out different combination of numbers and do not understand why the numbers are like 255/255 instead of just 255? Why 255 twice?

PlainSight Thanks for the location of the file. I was looking in the wrong place. Nice color but I would prefer a little darker color for the HUD. Do you have a suggestion to make it darker?

It has been awhile since I used CZ's A10 helios profile-so how do you get the UFC to show? Problem solved.

I have looked at that file, but it is not like the F18 that I could figure out. Do you know what lines are needed to edit? thanks

HUD green too light? I would like to darken the green hud or maybe have a black hud. where are the files for the color located and does anyone have a suggestion for the numbers?
