Hallo!

Post Google earth/maps links to military installations worldwide
Airway replied to jpm1's topic in Military and Aviation
Hello :) What are you listing them for? There's not even a kind of sorting I think. At least I don't see any. Staying confused, Airway -
Oh, that already was Cuda technology? Didn't know. Today they perform MMP tech demos with 1024 planes in airspace.

Yes, thats right. As far as I know, engines on different modules will be updated to the same engine with patches, to grant compatibility between the modules. Nothing new so far.

You know the date, the video was put online? 1. April 2009 ;)

Here's my crappy 2005 Duxford pictures. I had no good camera to that time but that changed since that event. Now I own a D-SLR, looking forward for the next airshow to come. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v710/Airway/Duxford%202005/?albumview=slideshow

No, it was directed by Steve Connor, from FlyingMachinesTV, too. Made from pictures of the 2008 Duxford Flying Legends DVD :) I got that DVD and it's great. Especially when you turn the commentary off. Pure engine power sound. #roaar :)

Oh, Jim Mack's working in Duxford?

No, Nate, he must have messed up something. 64bit is nothing we ever will expect. They told us and I can'tr find the thread they told us. They said, was it Wags or was it EvilBivol, there's more to expect from multiprzessor than from a 64bit engine. They had to overhaul the whole engine to introduce 64bit with only a very little advantage in compare with multicores. That's whats stuck in my brain, so far.

You got goose bumps, you say. Me too! And I'm not ashamed to say - I got some tears in my eyes, too.

If you look on top of the forum, at the banner, you will see the Indian head symbol of the Fighter Collection company, who are working on Black Shark together with ED. Well that's not all about the Fighter Collection company. They do way much more in aviation and historic aviation that deserves a special thread like this. Some Non-Europeans might not know that the Fighter collection operates, rebuilds and maintains Europe's largest collection of airworthy WWII aircraft and is based at Duxford Airfield, in the UK. Run by a professional team of engineers and pilots for both airshow and film work, the aircraft fly all over Europe during the summer months to attend airshows from Austria to Switzerland. The fleet comprises of aircraft from the UK, USA, Germany, Russia and Italy - and the collection is constantly expanding as new aeroplanes are acquired. In was last time in duxford to view the Flying Legend Air Show in 2005 and had no chance or money to get there again yet. I bought a high quality DVD from last years air show and it makes me longing to go there again. This years Flying Legend Air Show in Duxford, UK is on July 11th and 12th. Watch this little trailer, made from 2008 material here on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUkaukjFapw&fmt=18 For everyone else, like me, who's not able to attend to this yearly, but special event, I can highly recommend the DVD's here: http://www.flyingmachinestv.co.uk/ I myself bought several DVDs there over the last years and I can recommend Steve Connor's products (he's the director) and service. Watch a trailer for the coming Flying Legend Air Show here, made from last years material: So, you see, the Fighter Collection is way more than Black Shark, and for me, as an enthusiast of historic warbirds, I can only thank them and hope they keep up the good work. Guys, you are great  Well, I'm out of words now. Your turn :) Regards, Airway

But it may end up that some German, Spanish and French users don'T want to wait and may buy the UK edition. Then you think "wow great sales numbers - let's do the same in Spain, France and Germany. You then expect higher sales numbers but only a low number of sales might be done. That's just my kind objection and point of view. Airway

The fiver software still has some bugs, as least with Vista64, but the final 4er does well. -

Sorry, but it is true. I don't bother to say simulations in general, so Black Shark too, are CPU dependent, more than GPU. Simulation improve more from a CPU upgrade than from a GPU upgrade. My 2 Pfennig

That is the RTM release, identical to the RTW release.

I have installed Windows Vista Service Pack 2 64 bit and it runs without any issue together with DCS: Black Shark. Neither single Player nor Multiplayer showed a problem yet. I didn't use up an activation, too. Everythings fine, move on - nothing to see here :)
