That's very true, you quickly adapt...just for giggle's, I assigned the X and the Y to my CH pro throttle micro stick. It has maybe 3/8 of an inch movement one direction. I've been flying around a bit with the P-51, gonna try takeoff and landing with it too, could get ugly. :)

Well this plane was mastered by many in RL, so I'm sure that will also be the case in-game. Will have to forget much of the Clod experience, and begin anew with the learning her.

Would be nice, and not restricted to the nose area would be better. Some of the German pilots had art under/aft of the pit

I can't remember the airshow or the pilot's name speaking. But he was asked to compare the spit and 109 on turning. He without any hesitation, said the 109 was hands down superior...sorry, can't remember the model spit or the 109's that he has flown.

This plane is really awesome having fun with it, will take much of my time to learn it well. Then when the other props are released, my brain will explode trying to remember everything. :D

The impression I get from reading luthier posts, is that RRG will have some control on the weather. I could be very wrong on this and its certainly an unknown for us right now. On a related note, the weather forecast for the invasion day was wrong (what's new about that :P)...a lot of lives were lost because of the thick clouds that were encountered near the French coast. Aircraft were forced to increase their altitude, screwed things up a bit.

When we finally get the B-17 we could just fly it right from the factory in sunny California, all the way to Britain. :P
