  1. It's a bug reporr. Because I think it's bugged. Obviously not many people have this issue. Such is the nature of bugs. Some are widespread. Some are rare. There are bugs related to what hardware setup you have and driver versions etc. If you don't know this, then why are you here? I think it is bugged because of the reasons I mentioned in the OP. I am doing the startup by the book. I am doing autostart. I am doing nothing different than before the patch. Stabs says 13 instead of 12. Other AP modes work. I will try setting a deadzone though.
  2. Checked and double checked. Done it by the manual, step by step. Done it by following videos. Step by Step. Done it by autostart. I will mention that I only play in co-op multiplayer enviroment. It might behave different in Single Player mode. I will test it
  3. I have had a problem since last patch. I do the start up by the book. Even if I do it with auto-startup. The results are the same. My Hornet just wants to go nose up. I am constantly fighting the controls. Also. I can not engage the Autopilot modes Radar Altitude Hold or Baro Altitude hold. I click the buttons and nothing happens on the UFC, and the aircraft just keeps nosing up. If I input controls, I have to wrestle it out of the AP though, so something happens. But no Lights on the UFC to tell me that the alt hold modes are on, and the aircraft keeps climbing so.. something weird going on there. The other two modes work fine. HSELL and Attitude Hold. I'm getting desperate now so I have tried it about a zillion times. Both on Carrier and on land. Both on caucasus and Persian gulf. A hundred start ups, and take off's - all the same. No difference if I use autostart or not. No one else have this problem? Edit: Oh! I forgot to mention! I have noticed, that when I press the take-off trim button, my FCS page says "STABS: 13" Instead of the usual 12? This might be related? Tried with both clean and loaded jet
  4. 1. go to WPT page 2. Go to last sub page "USR WPT" 3. Click YES to create a new WP. 4. Name it. I usually go A1, A2, A3 to make it simple 5. Scroll down to coordinates and enter Long/Lat from any source Next, go to FLP (flight plan) Scroll down to an empty row, and imput your waypoint name. Activate leg! Or just click the Direct to Button and activate it from there! I actually learned everything I know about the NS430 from watching tutorials on the real IRL gadget on youtube. Amazing how accurate the sim is. Hope that helps
  5. Same issue. Occulus Rift CV2 Tiny droplets. None moving. They just fade. The effect seemes to disappear completly when you move faster than ~20km/h Which kind of makes it pointless, unless you are stationary and just sitting around.
  6. One thing I found, that helped me alot, and which I never heard mentioned is the blade pitch angle indicator. I had LOTS of trouble stopping and landing the Mi-8. I watched lots and lots of videos and read through stuff. All good tips indeed. But no one ever mentioned the blade pitch indicator. Now, the gauge sits down left, on the Pilot/commanders console, and is not totally unlike a throttle for fixed wing aircraft. When pulling the collective, it changes the blade pitch - not the actual throttle - as it is already set to full during the startup. However - this is exacly why you do a hover check, before you take off. When you take off - you are *supposed* to do a hover check. This is just to make sure that your helo can manage a hover, with the fuel quantity and loadout. At this point, pay close attention to your blade picth. If you do - you already know more or less exacly at what blade pitch your machine wll hover (in ground effect or not, if you raise out of it during the check) *without* transitional lift. Now, of course, this will change as you burn fuel and expend munitions/unload cargo - but you will have a close idea. For me, this works all the time. After performing the hover check, I memorise my blade pitch angle at hover. Then after flight, when approaching my landing/hover zone, I start to decelerate, and when the shaking starts, I know I am about to lose transitional lift - so just gently try to match the blade pitch of your hover check. Easy as pie. Sorry for a long *** reply, but yeah. Hope it helps
  7. I am having HUGE issues with RAT now. I created templates for Yak-40's, AN-26B's and IL76's All of which works just fine. So then I expande by adding some AN-30M's and Mi-27V's Theese last two groups only works in *one* single mission Ive created. In other missions, only the original three aircraft types will spawn. Even though i use the exakt sam script file! I have done and re-done the mission and I can't get it to work. It only works in one mission. Its so illogical and strange I am pulling the few last short strands of hairout of my head!
  8. Thanx a million Ciribob! Any idea when you'll merge in the feature to be able to change LC's with the F10 menu? I saw it was pull requested 5th february
  9. WOW! this is great news! So that means it *actually* worrks then! It's only a minor neuciance then! Can you confirm this? I am not at home atm, but I will try this ASAP! It of course becomes a problem again, if clients disconnects, for whatever reason.
  10. I've now got around and did some more testing. a lot more testing, in fact (still not the modified version, mentioned above) RAT aircraft despawn every time I shoot them down. Always. There is no mention in the log, and you do not get credited for the kill. They just disappear. The exeption seemes to be *sometimes* when RAT aicraft gets shot down by SAM units. Also. After a couple of hours in game, the traffic significantly decreases. And the reason for this seemes to be twofold. 1. Appearantly some RAT aicraft - possibly mainly helicopters - crash randomly into mountains - and appearantly this does not cause them to respawn? 2. A lot of aircraft gets stuck inside eachother, at the runway threshold on the Novorossysk airfield. there are possibly more troublesome airfields, but this is the one ive identified. For some reason, they do not get despawned/respawned, but are just jumbled togeather in a huge bounch. Sometimes ive had to manually despawn five or six aicraft, stuck inside eachother in a huge ball.
  11. Awesome! I will try it out! Many xbawks hueg thanks!
  12. That's sad. In missions I have made, where sounds are transmitted globaly, through triggers, sound to coalition/country etc, it seemes to work just fine. So it's just radio transmissions that are boken then? Is there any known way around it?
  13. Yo! I made a mission where I have a couple of units, around the map, who are transmitting sound on various frequencies. I can swich between the frequencies and hear the transmissions perfectly fine, but when I host the mission, and my friend joins, he can't hear a thing. Any ideas?
  14. I can't get a lock on anything, that I could easily lock before. Playing around with the contrast/brightness DOES sometimes help, no matter what you say or think. It does. Though it wears out you laser faster than you can empty your launchers. I got a few friends to buy and try the module, and it's quite an embarrassment. This is NOT how it used to function
  15. Yeah. I'm sure. I shot one down over the mountains, for example, on its rout between Mozdok and Tibilisi. Another one between Sochi and Kutaisi. Just vanishes. At one single occation was there an entry in the log, and that was when one was shot down by a SA-6 Kub. I figured it instantly died, before it could despawn.
  16. Is there a way to not make RAT aircraft despawn immediately when they die? It is a bit weird, when you shoot one down, and it just vanishes in thin air. In fact, it happens so fast, you dont even get credited in the log, or scoreboard.
  17. Sorry if this has been asked and answered before. I tried to search but came up with nothing. I installed the CTLD script with great success, and have had much fun. But what I need to know, is if its possible to change the laser code, of JTAC's deployed from crates? As it is now, they only seemes to be lasing on 1112, but I can find no entry for changing it, in the script?
  18. On this very exiting topic, I'd like to add That if clients disconnects from the server, and then reconnect - they can see dismparked infantry again. In addition though, Sometimes disembarked infantry disappears from the map entirely. For both Clients and Server host. Never to be seen again. In the 3D world, they can be seen running off in random direction, before perhaps despawning?
  19. When doing troop transport ops in Mi-8, I have discovered three issues. Sorry if theese have been reported before. 1). When ordered to embark, 1 - 3 infantry men always stop outside the helo, and does not get on. Tried with units of 3, 5 & 8 men. 2). Disembarked units starts running off in random direction, as soon as they get out. 3). This is the worst one. Disembarked units are completly invisible, bothe in the world and on F10 map, to everyone exept the server host. Thanx
  20. I fly in VR and have a couple of issues. First off, my Viggen is always rolling to the left. No matter what loadout I have. No matter if Autopilot is engaged or not. No matter if i Trim. Always rolling left. If I apply too much trim, it starts to rapidly spiral to the right. there is no middle ground. Second issue is the collimator sight. It's impossible to spot any targets in it in VR. Even if you know exacly where they are. And even worse. If you close your left eye, the sight is on your right eye - and if you close your right eye, the sight is on the left eye. There seemes to be no way to align either of your eyes with the sight. And trying to use both eyes to look into the sight is a no go.
  21. Last two posters make good points...
  22. Do you realize that you can, with the datalink, spot targets, mark them on your ABRIS, then very easily plan and program an attack-route - that does or doesn't even fly you into the enemies engagement areas. Then hit "Rout follow" and just ride along and do the gunning. I personaly do not think the KA-50 has a too big work-load for a single pilot. Sertanly not when it's not flown by a single pilot, but as part of a data-linked squadron of pilots, as it is supposeed to do. It is truly an amazing piece of military hardwear.
  23. You can always try to fiddle with the Contrast and Brightness knobs, below the TV-Screen. I often find I can make out targets when setting a higher contrast and maybe lower the brightness. It can be hard to get a solid tracking lock, but if the target is stationary, it will still burn.
  24. Still my favourite module. By far the most powerful helicopter in the game. It can do everything the others can (exept troop transport) and does it far better. I've convinced three of my friends to purchase it recently. It is a part of DCS World and of course it should be on par with the rest of the modules. And I am convinced it will.
  25. I am sure they work wonders IRL. And the purpose of them is to lower your infrared signature which makes it harder to find a god lock, but perhaps more important; to make it easier to spoof the missile with flares. Either way. I would still like to be fired upon from further range. It gives me more time to spot the missile/launcher and reacto to it, and the missile will have less energy when it closes in. I for one, am going to try to fly without them. MANPADS are the greatest threat in the missions I build, and they are pretty far from smokeless ;)
