  1. With all due respect sir. I beg to differ. This is from the E-Shop where you BUY the module. Like.. with real MONEY It even says Key Features
  2. I dont think it's possible TBH. But if it's YOUR mission - why not just change to code of the lasing unit? It doesn't do what you are looking for - but it solves the problem, right?
  3. Welcome to the Shark Waters. Most common question on this board. check this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3995785#post3995785
  4. Well, they have shown us those same crappy unfinished cockpit renders for three years now. #notimpressed #stillbutthurt
  5. Whatever happened to "When there's something new to show, we will show it"? #stillbutthurt
  6. Ow.. you mean like the F/A-18C? Or the F-16C? Sounds to me like you describe exacly what we already have. And you are getting the F-15E - but you don't "prefer" it... wow  Now talking about what DCS NEEDS, Go to the store and count how many modern Full fidelity jets the red side has. Yes that's right ZERO
  7. I think I remember seeing a KA-50 flying along KA-52's and Mi-28's in a half-recent RT Documentary.
  8. Untill this thread is not stuck in the "chit-chat" subforum. And untill we se something tangible and *real* from ED I remain sceptic and find it very hard to find my way back to the hype I first felt, when Matt went "What is this Mi-24 doing here!?" in the very first Hornet video. Vapourware - DukeNukem Style #stillbutthurt
  9. Of course you are right guys. I am just so sour over the fact that the Mi-24 always seemes to be 2 years in the future. Meanwhile we get bombarded with F-teens and JDAM's It's all tounge in cheek. as is my new hashtag #butthurt
  10. So. Multicrew in internal testing for the Huey. Not even a word mentioned about the Mi-8. Who is surprised? Another hobby taken over by the USA fanboys
  11. I don't think the damage itself is in question. It's more of a feeling that 95 out of 100 hits will always strike the engine. Looking at the bird's silouette, it just seemes odd, given that most of the fuselage is made up of the cargo compartment. And this concerns soldiers with small arms fire. Not really IR missiles.
  12. If you can get the coordinates from the drone, you can enter them into the NADIR to create a Waypoint. That's what I always do. That way I know the (exact) range and direction to the target. Very useful
  13. I wouldn't mind getting the ZAB-500 incendiary bomb too. But that's different, since it's not already in the game (to my knowledge)
  14. Buddy Lasing for the Su-25T is in the game. If it wasn't back then, it has been implemented since. Jump in the game and have someone lasing on 1113 for you. <you will see. This even works for the Su-27 and Su-33, even though they do not carry any Laser Guided weapons or sensor able to detect a laser, they will pick it up (using the same FC3 code, probably) Never tested it with the MiG-29, but I am willing to bet
  15. zhukov032186 That came out a little harsh man. Why so mad? I have played with the T-frog alot over the years. Still my go to ground attacker, since I prefer Eastern Aircraft. I might have exaggerated a bit, it is a commonly used method of getting a message through. I dont think the fact that we have KH-29L, KH-25ML and S-25L in the sim, is a reason to exclude the Laser Guided bombs. Nor is it a rason to cut them out, because "PG's are not as commonly used" Su-25T is a freakin prototype model. If you want to leave them out for that reason, well guess wehat? The Su-25T isn't exacly "commonly used" either. AI has the toys. I want the toys. Simple as that. Ps. KAB-500Kr is my fav weapon system in the game. it's limitation though, is that since it was designed to hit larger targets, you can sometimes struggle to get a lock and Launch Authority on vehicle sized targets. thanx for your imput anyways guys. Since this subforum is called "Wishlist" I just thought it was ok for me to post my wish. I guess some wishes are better than others huh? Sorry I am not asking for the F-22 like everybody else :p
  16. Never leave your house without your AKMS!
  17. Since it is seemingly impossible to ever develop even a semi-modern Russian Jet, we are appearantly stuck with the Su-25 and Su-25T, for any kind of ground attack in the sim. With this accepted as a fact, can we please get the Laser Guided series of bombs for Russian aircraft. Specificly the KAB-500L and the KAB-250L I believe the KAB-500L is already in the game. The KAB-1500L sertanly is (too big for Su-25, but AI can mount them on Su-24 and some other heavier bombers) If we could get the laser guided bombs for the Su-25T, we could at least have something usefull to do amongs all the A-10's, Harriers, Hornets, Tomcats and Vipers. As long as someone is lasing on 1113, I don't really see the problem or any reason not to let us play with them. They are already in the game, after all. Why limit them to AI? source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KAB-500L https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KAB-250 https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/russia/kab-500.htm https://www.ausairpower.net/APA-Rus-GBU.html
  18. Any updates on this mod? What's cooking?
  19. I honestly Expect the Cobra to come first. Then the F-4, then the F-111, then the AH-64, Then the F-17 and F-19 and the F-21, 22, 23, 35, followed by the F-3000 Then we might get a Mi-24 mod from Cubanace or some other modder. Maybe My grandchildrens children will live to fly the Mi-24 some day in the future. #stillbutthurt
  20. Breaking my own Policy. Day One Pre-Order. Ps. Love the Gazelle and the work you are doing on her. Keep it up! D.s
  21. Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
  22. I think this is incorrect Did you ever fly the F-14 in multicrew? The RIO can not only clearly see all the dials and gauges and instruments over in the front seat, you can actually interact with them. Even though this clearly is unrealistic, it is still evidence of a very working and multicrew capable cockpit
  23. Almost all missions have AA threats visible on your ABRIS as a small blue circle. The circle will be marked with "unit 01, unit 02" and so on. All Air threats will aslo have their threat/detection ranges displayed as a blue "shadowed" area on the map.
  24. If you are using the JTAC autolasing script - you can use it togeather with the Kh-29L and KH-25ML if you set the JTAC to lase on code 1113. This also works if you have an allied player using any vhicle to lase, in combined arms, or with allied aircraft lasing on 1113. If it works with the ingame JTAC function I do not know, but I guess it should work. I can not see why not. Just make sure the code is 1113
  25. INU Heat is pretty much critical, in many conditions. Might as well make a habit of flipping the switch right along with the INU power switch. Same as all pilots generally do with Pitot Heat. Also, not everyone cares about doing it "by the book" But IRL you always use external ground power for start. Starting by batteries only is only done in an emergancy. As an added bonus, External power greatly speeds up the start-up process. I always connect GP before doing anything else.
