  1. I really wish we had a PW-229 intake and exhaust model to go alongside the the GE. Always liked the PW tailfeathers look more.... :) Not complaining, just wishing! Having a viper at all is great.
  2. Just to clarify the point. Without the user-made skin artists' layered source file, trying to update the paint Roughmet to something half decent will be painstakingly arduous. The SPEC file format doesn't convert over channel for channel or even inversely in the case of the BLUE channel. So, without each paint being updated with a custom Roughmet; the above is the result. I've updated a few of mine, and they are available in the USER FILES, but not had time to get into the others...will try to update a few more as soon as practical.
  3. Will be good to get the official paint kit once it's out of WIP. Going through the process of converting my Sabre skins, I don't want to do that with any more aircraft....so I've held off painting the Viper until this stuff is all sorted. Thanks for the info.
  4. RE-UPLOADED.
  5. Oops! Discovered the "U.S. AIR FORCE" was still on the tail....hidden in plain sight! Will fix and reupload!
  6. South African Air Force RUTH II v3 Uploaded:
  7. Thanks Strut!
  8. Thank you! Also, I hope the Flames will eventually make a come back and not make 1988 the only year for a Stanley Cup!
  9. 94th FIS F-86A Next up!
  10. GAF JA-113 v3 Uploading...
  11. Haha. Whelp, I suppose that works! There's actually a texture for the RIO in there but they share the same pilot texture as far as Imcan tell. I had them both with correct name badges including different name patch insignia.
  12. Thank you! Hope you enjoy it.
  13. RE-RELEASED. The File has bee update and waiting for ED to approve.
  14. Will be the next one. Just for you! I'll release it seperate. It's the only German one I did, so there's no sense in keeping you waiting any longer than necessary.
  15. thanks Jocko. Yes, it's much more life like! Now, if we can just get that new Graphics engine that will support enhanced lighting and either dynamic cube maps or ray tracing, we'll have the ablility to have a true to life like visual experience!
  16. Absolutely AWESOME.
  17. Batch 01 Updated to use Roughmets that are now implemented for the Sabre. All custom Roughmets. Uploaded but not active yet!
  18. There's always vibrations in flight, even in smooth air. But like in the video here, maybe add some airframe vibrations and sound associated to movements and or Wake turb or jet wash. Kind of like the tomcat does. If you're already planning this, then great. Ignore! You can see a good example here.
  19. It would be nice to actually dump the current stand in, and have a completely new pilot on par with the benchmark of Heatblur F-14B pilot and RIO models or the new Razbam pilot models. This one looks like he's been rigged into the jet vs. a real person sitting in the jet.
  20. Sorry guys, summer was a flying season for me...took a bit of a break from the paint brushes. @LanceCriminal86, I used one of the stock paints layers to get the placement location and then made my own. @Strut, I had released it for about a week a little while back. Found a few things that needed fixing, so I pulled it. I don't think many people knew or cared as it only had 7 DL after 7 days. So no biggy. I will get around to releasing it. Same goes with my Fictional USAF 1950's paints.
  21. As explained the problem is that the Sabre now uses RoughMets. Every single user-made paint must now be converted to use RoughMets. Unfortunately it's not a simple rename of the Spec file or of inverting channels. The Roughmet is not a 1:1 per channel of the old Spec file. So they will all have to be redone per paint job for a complete conversion.
  22. This is the first batch FYI:
  23. Thanks! I've been on vacation, but I have the first 5 complete. Just have not had the time to upload! I will see about it at soon as possible!
  24. Found a small ghosting effect on the air force text on the starboard side tail. Will fix and re upload. Thanks to Squiffy for pointing it out!
