I’ve got the same problem but with AFS2. DCS is perfectly clear in the distance but AFS2 is very fuzzy, as if out of focus. You would’ve thought it would be the other way around.

None that I have established. V1 works perfectly for me. Just a single base station.

You need steamvr for 6dof head tracking. It’s pants without.

Start steamvr first. The base station will initially pick up the headset but may well go into standby mode, not tracking. Simply place the headset further back from the base station, about 2 metres and it will start tracking. Put headset on.

Long 4 months? Lmao. Try 14. That’s frustrating. Anyone stating that the 5K plus isn’t particularly good just has an old system or hasn’t a clue about efficiency in terms of settings. It absolutely blows anything else available out of the water. It’s bloody brilliant in DCS. I cannot rate it highly enough. Make sure you have at least one LH though as 2 dof is crap.

Make sure you have at least one lighthouse tracker. Very frustrating without 6DOF.

Don’t import. Simply start steamvr then pitool. Then start DCS. I start steamvr outside of pitool only to get my lighthouse working.

Got it installed (link does not work for me, but managed to find it on my hard drive from a while back) and has made a huge difference in audio fidelity. Good work Skullz. Installed via JSGME. Can I confirm that if I install any add ons or updates then I must disable the mod first, then reenable after?

Many thanks guys. I was actually looking for a cabin light so I could find the switches in the pitch black. Funny thing being is that I was starting certain missions at dusk but the cabin light wouldn’t be lit, which it normally is by default, although the scene was pitch black. I think it may have been because I had the gamma setting too low. I’m trying to find the optimum lighting conditions for the 5K+ by altering time of day, gamma, and pitools brightness settings. I’ll get there in the end.

I’m turning the rotary switches housed in the overhead panel but no bloody internal lighting. Am I missing something, apart from many brain cells which I already know about. Thanks in advance.

Flying around Normandy and the trees shadows are flickering, moving randomly. Completely spoiling the VR effect. I go to settings to turn shadows off and I can’t for some reason.
