Agreed. Plus they’re selling for peanuts now. I’ll keep mine as a backup. Anyhow, 5K+ early backer, arrived last week. Just received my lighthouse and got setup in 6dof now. I can now fly the Huey and see the co-pilot whilst looking straight ahead. Quite amazing I have to say. I have mine set to normal FOV as there’s an issue with the current pitool with wide setting. Can’t wait for the imminent release of the latest pitool. Should make a big difference performance wise. Clarity is soo much better too.

I’ve had to reinstall DCS following a pc upgrade and now cannot find the link to download this sound mod. Any help appreciated. And also best method of installation.

Hi guys. Just received my 5K+. All working perfectly. Problem being I have no idea how to get DCS working with it. Do I need the Steam version of DCS to run with Pimax? Thanks for any help.

Well the start-up sequence is perfect but it all goes to rat shit at full revs with just a very unrealistic vibration. I’ve gone back to my butt kicker which is better imo.

Yes please. I would sell a kidney to have a chinook in DCS.

It’s all about the increased FOV. Believe me, just 10 minutes on the 8K / 5K+ and you’ll never revert back to your current headset.
