Same issue here, the sound of the engine is mostly on the left and doesn't hear that much Mirage F1, I don't know about the Hornet, might have the issue aswell, I don't use a Anti Virus and it's only since the hotfix, the Mirage F1 had no issue at all... I hope they're gonna fix it quickly. Starting the engine is silent...

It's not a easter egg but they forgot to put the right external model, you can see all cockpit variant by changing the arg 70 to have all F1 versions done by Aerges

Got the same issue, with my Ryzen 5 2600 + 16GB 3000MHz (CAS 16) and a RTX 2060 Super Oculus Rift CV1 Deleted fxo and metashader2, I reinstalled Windows, Nvidia Driver, Oculus Software and got only on Caucasus Stuttering every 2 sec

Gonna try this on my Oculus Rift CV1

Disable the Wake Turbulance but I still get sometimes drops and low FPS after 5-10 min of flight
-
Okay I tried and I got still way lower fps that i should get, i lost 50% of my FPS before the update And i happend not even when i get close to other planes
-
I can try that, but If the server forced I will still have wake turbulence right ?

Got i5-4690 + 24GB + RTX 2060 Super + SSD Same here Before update 30-25fps Now I get to 5Fps very unplayable
-
Hello, Since today's Update I went to 5 fps when i get close to other planes (only while flying, not when my own plane is on the ground) And so my GPU usage goes to 10 even 5% when I get closer to plane so got very low FPS, CPU usage is at around 60-70% Oculus Rift CV1 i5-4690 24GB RAM RTX 2060 Super SSD 240GB
-
Same here, got big FPS issues on Caucasus with my Rift CV1, running on a R9 290 and 24GB RAM got lot of stuttering and low FPS since the "VR Update", other planes runs way better, I lose 10Fps in the F-14B Cockpit

Hello again, I tried to replicate the bug with a older version (2.5.5.32533) and the last one at the same spot with the same mission and it look the same, I think the bug come from weird settings on water and makes it look too much transparent
-
Hello, Since the last update I see too much Water Transparency below my view, I'm running in VR 1.0 Resolution Water on medium settings with a R9 290 4GB AMD Drivers 19.3.1 Windows 10 64Bits Here is before the update : Here is after the update : Thank again and good day
-
Hey, I get also some performances issues in F-14 in VR I have a R9 290 + 24GB + i5-4690 It's the only plane who i get low framerate and sometimes some stuttering. running also at 1.0 pixel density but with mediums settings. (DCS on SSD and 3 Hard Drives for Pagefile)
-
Just tried and works better, no flickering issues
-
Gonna try this today, thanks for the quick response, also a friend who wasn't on VR got the same flickering issues (I think he was also on low Water settings) also in a F/A-18C Hornet cockpit

[FIXED INTERNALLY] Water Too Transparent on Low Setting
Loukuins replied to Loukuins's topic in General Bugs
Yup I know it's not realistic, I live in french Riviera and we can't see that deep in the Sea, this need to be fixed -
When I get close to the water the water flick very high, only when I'm the F/A-18C Cockpit (not tried with other planes at this time) I have Water on Low Settings and running on R9 290 (VR Oculus Rift)
-
Since the 2.5.5 update i got this bug, I run in VR with Water on Low settings Here is the bug : And here before the update : I'm running on a R9 290

Tbh I got it and it works pretty fine, not the greatest visual but the feeling is really great, i love it, also I'm too poor to buy a Oculus Rift, it was a friend who gave me his old rift (because he bought a rift S), and i will maybe buy a Vega 56 if i got the money in a few months. Thanks for the help
