Something like trigger.action.outSoundAtPoint(string soundfile, vec3 point, int volume ) where the sound is playing at the position of the vec3 point. The volume determinate the radius. -
In the mission editor, we can see yellow and red circles indicating respectively the maximum detection range and the maximum firing range. There is also a minimum range for some models. It would be interesting to create lua functions to return its information, as well as a function indicating if a point or a unit are "within range" of fire. This can be used in particular for artillery script, or dca... Function we needed : - unit:getMinRange() return minimum range of unit in metter - unit:getMaxRange() return maximum range of unit in metter (red circle) - unit:getDetectionRange() return maximum detection Range in metter (yellow circle) - unit:pointInRange(vec3) param point (vec3) of a position. Return boolean (true/false) if a param "point" is between min and max range.

It can be very easy to make : A model that has different animations. Currently, when loading the game, the models "orient themselves" in the direction of the wind. What's missing? An adaptive animation of the model according to the strength of the wind (related to its altitude)

Overlord bot seem to be a game-changer! What DCS lacks the most, in my opinion, is being able to transmit coordinates (lat long) by radio, so that they are converted into vec2 / vec3 variables, and usable in any script! Thus, one could easily imagine missions where, for example, a pilot could command an AI artillery fire simply by transmitting coordinates by radio! Or have reconnaissance devices transmitting coordinates to a JTAC, which then redistributes these to attack devices! The transformation of oral coordinates by SRS into vec2/vec3 would open the door to really interesting dynamic missions

Some bots already exist as overlord. But it would be interesting that DCS natively incorporates a voice recognition program that allows the player to program responses, or even create variables. For example, to get coordinates of targets send by radio by a player to make a vec2 that can be used on lua function! Combined with a text to speech, the player could interact with the ai vocally by radio, give order, do a reconnaissance mission, or a asking for an artillery shoot. We can programm JTAC easly. It would be a "gamechanger" feature for dynamic mission!

Yes, he look like he is on work in progress. I have tested the Buyan-class corvette, and it doesn't work too. But if Admiral make an Karakurt class corvette, it's better ! An I feel ED will remake his Kirov and other ship for the lauch of Kola's map -

In DCS, forest are indesctuctible. It's a shame : - A group of APCs under the cover of a forest is practically indestructible: A rocket pass will have no effect on the units below, the leaves will stop the shoots! It could be interesting sometimes to destroy trees, there should be a notion of destructible trees. - Another thing: There is no lua function to know if a position is occuped by a forest or not. There are functions to determine if an area is land or sea, but no functions that indicates if the area is forested or not. However, it can sometimes be practical. For example: I want to make a script so that a artillery move in an area, finds a place without forest to deploy, fire, then leave. However, no function will allow me to determine if an area or a path contains forest. I don't want my artillery trying to deploy under a forest, I want it to find nearby clearings if the aera is forrested. But no lua functions can determine that.

There is the Ropucha landing ship here (3 model, one type "ship", one type "armored" (for being able to move on the coast line) and one for the refueling). I think there is some optimisation's work to do, but It work well. -

I love this model of Admiral Kasatonov! Great work! With the Kola Peninsula map, we are happy to see more Russian's ships for populate Polyarny and Severomorsk's naval base! We need Need Udaloy and Sovremenny class ship ^^ (It is possible that ED will make more ship for the lauch of Kola Peninsula!) -
I try this trigger : work well. It is'nt "MLRS "unit" in zone", but "MRLS "rockets" in zone. It can detect a MLRS at fire.
