Relations between Iran and the West have collapsed. Iranian agression in the Persian Gulf has dramatically increased. As the world watches things unfold, we hope for deescalation but we must prepare to counter any threats to global supply lines. June 21, 2006... The US has deployed a carrier strike group in hopes the presence will convince the Iranians to stand down, but recently the Iranians have launched missiles at the fleet, destructing them at dangerously close range. Hey DCS Server Admins! I wanted to pick your brain(s) if possible because I've run into an issue hosting a dedicated server that both works and doesn't work at the same time. I first noticed the issue when I would fly low-resource Liberation maps. I'd take off, complete roughly a half-hour of mission and then I would start to notice aircraft just stopping mid-air. It was akin to a lag-spike but the communication to the server remained unaffected. After roughly a minute or so I would find myself still flying in the direction I was but all the aircraft around me started flying backwards (I'm assuming to sync what's on the server vs what's on my end). Seconds later I'd be a crater and I'd press 'Tab' to look at the action log where it says I was downed by a Manpad or another aircraft. Regardless of how complex or simple the mission is, these 'skips' still occur... so onto the things I've tried! So again, I'm thinking latency issue... so I remote connected to my dedicated server/VM and noticed every few minutes the DCS Open Beta server window will go to a 'Not Responding' state for a few minutes then return just to repeat the process a few minutes later. During these moments I checked the task manager and CPU workload is roughly 40% and Memory consumption is close to 40-50% used. The DCS.exe task itself would also go back and forth from running to 'not responding' just like the server window does. So if it isn't DCS workload (running out of resources) then the next thing to try is the Event Viewer. I opened up the event viewer and I saw hundreds of 'info' and 'warning' messages but no actual errors under any of the sections (Application, Security, etc.). If it's not an event then maybe it's in the DCS logs themselves. My first response was "Oh I bet the server is trying to process everything (which would cause massive slowdown because there's no video card on the VM) however judging by the logs above it IS running --norender --server so that isn't an issue either. Running a ping to the server from my flight PC returns a ping of 12ms so I know it isn't that either, and running a speed-test I'm getting 100+ Upload and 350+ Download so it isn't bandwidth. I checked all my open ports using telnet and just basic online port checkers and I'm able to hit the server on 10308, 10309, and 8088 without issues. So at this point I'm really lookin' for help from anyone willing to assist. If it isn't system resources, ping/latency, or an application error I'm completely out of guesses. While we are mainly Rotary wing focused, this does not mean we do not like the fixed-wing airframes. Helping other players in building FARP, units, and capturing airfields is a very important part of our server. Discord<<Click me Situation Israel and Syria have been in conflict for thousands of years. Since 2022, After the ceasefire ordered by the Council of nations, Syria Has spent the last 20 years gearing up for war. Syria and the Council of Nations are not willing to allow the dictatorship to have such a large arsenal. The border needs to be reinforced to protect Israel from a possible Syrian Invasion. Once the border is reinforced, we can start the push into Syria to remove the dictator from power. Damascus is heavily reinforced by his followers. Destroy factories and airfields. Frequencies can be found in your kneeboard. There are Easter Eggs in this server mission. Good luck finding them! Game Plan Reinforce the front line(indicated on map) Push the Syrian forces from the border Move into Syria and capture the Factories, Airfields, and strategic points Dwindle the Syrian forces until the supply is low enough for an attack on Damascus Assassinate the Dictator Persistence This server is persistent, constantly evolving campaign. What this means is, everything you do is kept on the server after a restart. Supply There is a finite amount of supply for both Syria and Israel. This means if you take off in a helicopter or a jet, and loose the aircraft that will no longer be in the supply However, there are factories across the map for resupply of Airframes, Fuel, Munitions, and troops. Don't forget that you will need to resupply the airfields and FARPS with the required munitions. Statistics We save stats on the server, that includes but not limited to; Flight hours Kills Deaths Weapons Specifics AI specifics Rules Be kind.... Work together No trolling No Teamkilling Combined Arms Yes! We love combined arms users! If you would like to have the ability to have a combined arms slot, do not hesitate to ask! We keep the slots limited to users who are on the discord and have some form of reputation with Gracey's Village. This keeps trolls, and griefing to a minimum Weather The weather is a slightly bumpy, and chilly light overcast. The time starts at 730 am(first run) and continues through the night into the next day. Weather can change overtime.

In open beta, after Sidearms lock on, the reticle projected onto the HUD no longer centers on the emitter (it does in stable). For me at least, the weapon itself seems to be acquiring, locking, and homing as expected, both caged and uncaged. I'm attaching a track file. I do appreciate that waypoints now display on the HUD in A/G mode! av8bNA_sidearm_debug_OB.trk

Hi folks, Running DCS Multi Thread Standalone Open Beta (latest ver) I'm concerned at the number of errors and warnings contained in my log file. I simply do not know whether or not these errors and warnings can be considered 'normal', in the current Open Beta, or whether I have a problem(s) that needs sorting. I attach my latest log file. Would anyone who knows about these log file entries be willing to take a look and advise if there are things I need to fix? If so, how! Thanks dcs.log.txt

Hi! I was always a campaign player but I started a few days ago with multiplayer using the open beta. The problem is that the game always crashes with the same problem: "Unfortunately DCS crashed. Allow DCS to gather additional debug info using dxdiag.exe?". I have no idea what that means so any help would be really appreciated! Here are the log of crashes (no idea which one is the one that has the info) Edit: I tried different MP servers and the game crashes every time, maybe in 3 minutes or 10 minutes, but it does always. Hi I'm getting worse performance since the latest OB update. I don't have exact numbers but I'm getting stuttering where I didn't used to, caused by the GPU maxing out. Happens in both MT and ST I'm using a Quest Pro, specs in signature
