All warbirds in DCS the trim moves too much too quick. Also the Corsair How do I de tune the axis? I tried saturation, it slows it down, but you loose travel, so the trim wont go all the way to its travel. Any other options?

In a damaged engine the Manifold Pressure gauge could bounce some, but damaged engine, not normal.

@Reflected Also some of the quick start missions in Channel and Normandy has USA skins.

Sink the Tirpitz on the Kola map was made by me, this are missions that came with the Corsair, not the instant missions, just look for them under Missions-Corsair and there are 5 I think, 1 on Channel map, 1 on Normandy and 3 on Caucasus

AI Corsair UFO damage model

@Reflected Good to hear about the Corsair campaign, should be awesome. I have been flying the single missions, they are very good but for the ones in the Channel map, I wish you would have used the British skins instead, since there were some British Corsairs for the Royal Navy based in UK, it would made it more credible. I tried to change the skins in he mission editor and could only change a few, the others for some reason when I fly the mission are still USA skins.

Also fly planes IRL , only RPM could be bouncing, I have seen than a few times, the rest don't.

Agreed very sensitive rudder , I a bit added saturation and a bit of curve, pitch and roll did not have to add anything.

In the options folder of the Corsair we have simplified rudder use option, n the 3 files, but not in game for use to choose. Is it ON? is it off? Dont know what to change to experiment, maybe realistic option was not totally finished on release? And this is why is not implemented in game? null null null

Lets add this to the list, I have been doing only carrier operations, landing you get basically no roll, and for take offs the tail is lifted by itself in no time, I wonder if take off assist is ON. Have not checked F2 outside view, but taxing in the carrier a bit, felt a bit weird.

Good topic, many want to know, some RL planes I fly require constant trim, and anticipating the turns with rudder, others don't. Corsair I don't know,if it need constant trim, but it has a big propeller, lots of power, and a long nose.

Something very noticeable in a warbird are the sounds and vibrations, specially on a radial engine one.

Been flying flight sims for 30 years, also real pilot for 16 and own and fly a warbird. IMHO the Corsair is fantastic, I made a list of what I like and what I think needs improvement, and what is great, feel free to add your input. Improvement needed Cockpit looks great but too dark Sound volume too low Is the suspension on the struts modelled? Is take off assist ON? seems very easy, it lifts the tail on its own. FM to be able to work with sticks with no extensions (but don't change so much it ruins it for guys with extensions and FFB, works great for us) Damage model for systems /engine (I know its in the works) Probably in the works, add more axis and setting to be able to be mappable. What is great Feel of flight is really good, maybe one of the best I have tried. FM (I am using extension and FFB and it feels great) Some of the damage model to the airframe, wings you get hit, get holes and it adds drag, damaged wing drops and makes it hard to fly, your elevator gets shot and plane becomes uncontrollable the damage visuals are also great, when the engine and systems damage model are complete, should be amazing. Finally an open canopy that adds drag (all other warbirds need this) Graphics , and attention to detail are amazing, makes the 109, P51 and Dora look ancient.

B17s and A 20s break formation and fly all over the place , was in 4YA PO server. A20 shot the tail, came off and kept flying -

My flight of 4 is returning to the carrier after a patrol, the ship was located, I want to land , have the flight rearm with bombs and take off again. How do I make that happen? Here is the mission 6Corsair support Tirpitz attack.miz

I do like the FM a lot, IMHO it might be one of the best ones, this plane requires trim all the time and has lots adverse yaw , you need to anticipate the turns with rudder like many real world airplanes, its a big nose a big motor with huge prop, just changing power will make the nose yaw a lot. I use a Joystick with extension and FFB, no curves, no saturation, only added 2 on rudder dead zone as per the manual recommendation and flies great. It seems to be that it does not like sticks without extension, it becomes way too sensitive, I think this will be solved with saturation and curves.
