  1. Question about the limiter adapter, have a 20cm extension with the Rhino base, many times the fans start and the FFB resistance goes away after a prolonged dogfight with WWII planes in DCS, by adding a limiter adapter, will that reduce motor stress somehow and allows for longer dogfights before the fans kick in and the force goes away? How do you tune the axis to compensate for the adapter? do you need to do this or just a recalibration of the joystick is enough?

Definitely it has not been fixed, same boring un aggressive behavior, ran a few single player missions, plenty of planes chasing each other, hardly any shooting, again I am the only one doing all the killing. This is very important , should be a priority, WWII single player has become very boring, and it was not like that, hoping to see it fixed to at least the way it was before it got broken.
  3. Beautiful updates to the map, thank you, also much better performance. Just a small tiny detail French flag should not be waving in June 1944,as France was still under Nazi regime.
  4. Spent 1.5 hrs on 4YA PO server and was smooth as butter (only 3 players but plenty AI) looks promising. Brakes on 190 and 109s feel a lot better and more realistic, have not tested P51 yet. Thanks for taking care of that.
  5. A squad mate made a mod, with only changes in two lines of the lua file @NineLine @BIGNEWY This looks much better than no effects, maybe use this? I can share the info on what was changed so it minimizes workload on the team.
  6. I have the Rhino base, I have Telem working as the software and have my settings, by adding the RhinoMFG a new Telem window opens just for the pedals so I can put the settings I want for pedals, or it uses the same settings as I already have on the Rhino Stick?
  7. That's great, I have version2 of MFG, will see how complicated it would be for my version to adapt the FFB kit before buying.
  8. Have MFG pedals, so curious about the RhinoMFG, I only fly warbirds in DCS, what effects do you have with the MFG pedals? I fly a warbird in real life this are the effects I get on my plane : The pedals shake a lot when buffeting happens just before the stall Pedals get stiffer at high speed, but more responsive which means just a bit of pressure gives you lots of rudder authority, and softer and less responsive at slow speeds. Engine rumble, its felt very subtle on the pedals. Do we have this effects with the RhinoMFG? I would love to have those effect and of course hit effects, if your rudder gets hit, it should give you a jolt in the pedals.
  9. I am using the mod and like it very much. Have a question, lets say I am flying a scripted campaign, I am not editing weather or nothing. If I have the mod active, is the weather different than if I have the mod de activated? Does the mod changes default weather in missions when activated, or only when I edit weather and use the presets?
  10. But did they shoot you down? I found AI has lost their aggressiveness since the last patch and hardly ever shoot down each other or the player unless you try to be shot down.

  13. Not sure if they are overdone or not, I have seen a P51 wing break while the pilot pulled high Gs during a dive in a MP server. IRL I find it hard to believe this happened, not because the strength of the wing but, but the forces needed to pull the stick at 500mph violently for full elevator deflection can be too much.

I am not too bothered about the power of the 30mm, have taken the tail of P51's with one hit many times (that animation looks horribly arcade by the way), also have taken wings of fighters, its rare though, it should happen a bit more often. The 20mm of the Spitfire seems ok, a short burst set 109s and 190s on fire easily. I am not an expert though, but not that bothered. With that being said, just improving the hits effect should be not too difficult for ED. DM is not perfect, and needs some adjustments, but its not too bad either.
  15. 20mm effects are too small compared to real life, and 30mm even worse, hardly no effect, and should have even a larger effect than a 20mm, its quite important and people would probably like it, a big part of the gratification of WWII fighting is to see your hits into the enemy plane. DCS machine gun effects are brilliant, most realistic I have seen in any sim ever, hope 20mm and specially 30mm effects can get more like they are IRL.   16. P47 with the tailwheel unlocked do not seems to be a problem, the P51 ground modelling is really broken now, its terrible.
  17. In game P51 ground modelling is weird now, rest seem fine IMHO. I suspect in the videos they are using a bit of braking to help turning? There no way to make this kind of turns in the tailwheel plane I fly without touching the brakes.
  18. I like PO a lot, want more people? You probably know this, German side wants MW50,that is what I hear the most about why they don't fly PO, I fly German, PO is not a Dogfight arcade arena, you can do good without MW50, its more tactical. But people don't want to be at a disadvantage, the P51 and P47 models are also ahead of the dates we fly in PO, but there is no way to limit them. Give it a try to see if it works in more numbers by adding MW50 to some of the Doras, I know that would make some people happy and will join. We need a Germany map, and all would be a lot easier, no complains. Keep the good work.
  19. More tracks Quick mission FW190 Airfield attack, lots of Spitfires, but just fly around in circles doing nothing, I am the only one shooting.   20. Just finished Wolfpack Campaign, I started it a few months ago, was exciting and fun, but after the patch it became unrealistic and boring, I was the only one doing the firing and getting kills, not challenging at all. It killed any sense of immersion.

Another track, same quick mission as before, Spitfire channel 109 furball, towards the end a 109 gets on my tail, I fly straight, he fires a short burst , then just follows me forever, me just flying straight and level to see if he shoots me down, he is just following behind doing rolls, does not fire, I even slow down a bit and continue straight and level to make it even easier, still follows me doing rolls, I slow down even more ,after a while then he finally fires and shoots me down.   22. I have this controllers, all work well, I try to assign the brown knob axis to rudder trim in the P51. In game controllers assignments it shows up and moves gradually and smoothly. When I am in the P51 as soon as I move the brown knob, the trim of the plane starts moving all the way to the end and does not stop, even a small movement of the knob makes the trim inside the plane move all the way to the end. Is there a way to make this work properly? See the trim when I do little movements on the brown knob, the trim inside the plane does not stop when my hand stops , it continues to move
  23. Hi, a couple of years ago I bought some controllers from you.

    Still working great.

    This is the one I bought. I am trying to assign the  oil cooler axis (brown round knob) to the P51 rudder trim, problem I have is , if I move the brown knob just a bit, in game the rudder trim starts moving all the way to the end, it does not let me just move it by small increments as it should be. In the Axis assign window it moves normal and as slow or fast as I want, but not in game, it only moves all the way.

    Is there a way to solve this?

      Hello!
      Judging by the date of the video, it was 5 years ago!!!
      Time flies...
      If this axis works correctly in Windows "game devices", but not in the game, then you need to look for the reason in the game...
      I don't fly anywhere on the P-51, I fly on the Focke-Wulf in the Il-2...
      Perhaps on the P-51 you can only assign buttons or it has several fixed positions...

  25. Here is a track, quick mission Spitfire, 109 Furball, Channel map. Enemy and Allied AI hardly engage, if they chase each other maybe fire a min burst if at all, and keep chasing without firing, planes become easy to shoot down for human players, I got a 109 on my tail and flew straight and level on purpose to see if he shoots, one mini burst then nothing and follows me doing aileron rolls. This mission used to be a challenge, now an unrealistic peace of cake. Same with rest of missions, campaigns and even AI in MP have lost their aggressiveness. Boring AI.trk
