Ciao! Come prima cosa ti consiglio di visitare il thread dedicato ai gruppi di volo Italiani: Qualche gruppo che usa proprio lo Huey tra i moduli c'è. Inoltre, se posso permettermi un'osservazione, non aspetterei di completare l'addestramento sullo Huey: prima di tutto per non precluderti comunque la possibilità di conoscere le varie comunità prima di fare la tua scelta, e poi perché per esperienza personale una parte degli addestramenti riguarda comunque aspetti "meno tecnici" del volo come ad esempio procedure che possono variare da gruppo a gruppo.

Defense Contracts? Yeah, I guess in that case you have to be extra careful about deadlines. But still, we're not talking about defence contracts here, we're talking about a consumer product, and a one that is quite above the average complexity of consumer softwares. There's a reason why all new software engineering methodologies rely on agile development, no hard deadlines, byte-sized features, frequent releases and so on. Software nowadays is complex, with so many moving parts that it's impossible to meet hard deadlines constantly. That's why you talk about estimates and not deadlines when you develop new features in software. If you don't like the "Get it when it's ready" mentality, IMHO you should just not buy the product then.

Ok, so what industry are we talking about here? Because in the software development industry, deadlines are constantly missed by everyone. That's why you have agile development approaches, where you develop small features in two weeks sprints. If you're talking about another industry... well, it's not relevant.

And that is correct. What I do usually is to keep the throttle more than IDLE until the DEMAR lights turns off (about 70% RPM) and then get back to IDLE. If I IDLE too soon, the engine does not complete the startup and goes back to 0 eventually.

Absolutely true, I wasn't trying to say that the M2KC is specifically crafted for A2G. In fact is an 80s interceptor that has been retrofitted to A/G as well, so it's obvious that it has its limitations. Of course, to each their own. I just expressed my opinion, everyone is more than welcome to have their own. It's not a matter of what to support or not. It's a matter of fact that it's been at least 18 months (but only because I'm being extremely conservative here, since I can't really remember) that Razbam is telling us that it's not planned. The topic has been debated so many times they even put this disclaimer as the topic of the M2KC channel in their Discord server. I was just pointing this out (with a bit of fustration for having heard this over and over, I admit), not making any assumptions on what Razbam should or shouldn't do, or what DCS users should or shouldn't like.

Non è una mancanza, è giusto sia così. I russi non usano il sistema TACAN, ne hanno uno diverso di cui non ricordo il nome. Infatti ad essere fornite di TACAN sono solo le basi Georgiane nella mappa.

Ah, non dimenticare anche che hai la possibilità di provare tutti i moduli gratuitamente per due settimane ogni sei mesi, anche uno alla volta, quindi a forza di provare moduli puoi tirare avanti parecchio!

Non ho capito se, una volta che il 339 sarà fuori, hai intenzione di concentrare i tuoi sforzi su di lui oppure no. In caso affermativo ti consiglierei un modulo che a livello di sistemi ci si avvicina, quindi un quarta generazione con INS ma con avioniche relativamente poco elettroniche. Probabilmente il mio è un consiglio un po' strano, ma secondo me il Mirage potrebbe essere una buona via di mezzo: facile da volare (ma sarà molto diverso dal 339 che se non sbaglio non ha fly by wire), complesso il giusto dal punto di vista della navigazione. Se invece la tua domanda riguarda un modulo da consigliarti a prescindere da quello che sarà il tuo utilizzo del 339... Beh, devi semplicemente scegliere cosa ti piace di più e cosa ti motiva di più per volare ogni volta. Purtroppo DCS è così, richiede tempo e applicazione. Un altro consiglio soggettivo che ti do è di cercare una community con cui portare avanti la tua esperienza. Ce ne sono di tutti i tipi e per ogni disponibilità di impegno, quindi facci un pensiero e contattane qualcuna. Per me la sensazione di volare in gruppo e fare parte "di qualcosa" è impagabile.

M2 tendono ad essere più veloci degli SSD, anche se la differenza non è poi tanta. L'unica cosa da NON fare è non usare HDD (ma ormai dubito che ce ne siano ancora molti in giro). Tutto il resto sono dettagli impercettibili.
