As much as I like USA aircraft, its time for something different and if it has to be anything the Tornado is a perfect fit. Yes, I like the A-6 but its another USA aircraft that the F-18 does quite well at and not only that at some point in time we will have the F-16 and F-15E. Even if you do get the A-6 it will probably be the A or B variant, the Electronic warfare versions would probably never happen. For all of the above reasons the Tornado is the way to go

+1 it would be nice to have mouse control options for Jester

Any inbound stock news for the US store?
-
Soloved it by using the DCS updater utility, you need to update the DCS client and once you do that it will show up to download. For me DCS was not updating via its update tool, I had to do it manually.

I have this same issue, its not showing up in my orders on the DCS webpage or in DCS under the modules.

vkb doesnt want my money it seems...always out of stock
F900EX replied to birdstrike's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
I don't want to come across as being hard on them, I want to buy a few of there products, I'm willing to wait, I'm patient but when you have a company that provides no transparancy, no communication and deflects all of the "we have no control over our stock" to the vendors they sell too. I don't know if its pride, market share, supply chain issues, $$$ issues or it's a complicated process to assemble these joysticks together and there is more of a demand they are set up for... Sure its not my concern, but I just wish for once VKB would just come out with a 2019 timeline as to when their vendors will have will be shipped stock that it's in stock, it seems the EU store does a good job of this despite the challenges I've seen over the past 12 months. If that's the case then its very clear VKB do and will control who gets what. As for the USA VKB stock, it would appear rrohde is at the mercy of VKB mothership hence the (ESTIMATED NEXT BATCH RELEASE: TO BE DETERMINED BY VKB HQ) If that's the case then it's very clear VKB do and will control who gets what. I even tried to buy the Gladiator Mk.II and SCG Space Combat Grip since thats all the US store has in stock, but guess what the G.MKII with the WWII KG12 Grip is non-removable. I mean I ask myself, I am asking for too much as to when they will have a joystick in stock? am I been hash and unfair? I don't believe so. IMO it's a simple question. -

LOL what a bunch of horse droppings ....I've been waiting for the MCG PRO MKII or similar since 02-17-2018 and you see that in my previous in posts. I have been waiting you know I have, I check nearly 2-3 days check your European website site, I keep in touch when your USA Vendor (rrohde) on a regular bases, all due respect to him, he has NO clue as to when you will have it in stock, NO CLUE, I check aliexpress, I check eBay and your going to make a post that pretty much everything was in stock in the last few days LOL ... DO enlighten us what magic store had nearly everything in stock?... VKB over the last year - and I won't hold you to it since I said I would not, you stated it would be a few weeks, then it went to months (fine) but after that some HUGE batch is inbound, after that - No timeline, no open communication as to then joysticks will be available, all I have been seeing is some PR for a space joystick in DCS and some might be F-14 stick that might or might not happen. I think you need to look at your own above posting since a lot of it applies to you and VKB. -
Hard to believe its been 31 years .... I used to love playing it
-
Tornado GR1 it has to be .....

I respect his decision, hopefully, others will too, if you don't like his decision then make a guide for the DCS community

Good to hear, thanks Cobra.

Hey Buck- It's not about space its just more IMO needless things to buy and another thing to break, my preference has always been a stick with a twist.

Did I point you out? No, but there are plenty of people who said HB would not deliver by March, they want there $$$ back, this is not what they signed up for etc.... the crying list goes on and on, completely unjustified not just in this thread but others too.

I don't disagree with you, it is a strange arrangement these independent Vendors have with VKB, I would compare it to going to Bestbuy buying a product that has a 2 year warranty, 1 year in it stops working, your hardly going to go back to best buy to replace it, you go the manufacture. CBStu - that's interesting that it's not you but the person appears to have a similar issue. I hope you get it fixed or VKB do the right thing, if not look at your credit card benefits to see if you have any recourse.

Well here is my advice, RMA it, overtime it will only get worse and probably will stop working at some point. You're still in your warranty and that's what I would do without delay. :joystick:

In all fairness Fusespine33, rrohde is just a vendor, yes I get it but he didn't sell the joystick, now your analogy with the Range Rover, ( 1st I would never buy one from CarMax lol and I do own one 2018 RRS AutoB) but lets say I did and the RR was out of warranty, the only way a Land Rover dealer would repair it is if you paid. Now let's say the joystick was in the warranty period and as he mentioned no reply from the Vendor after repeated attempts it would be nice to have HQ VKB help him out and sort out his problem, after all, your right they manufactured the joystick. It's a shame he didn't buy it from rrohde since any time I email him I get a reply within 30mins which is great. Which brings me to my next point, anytime you buy an expensive product use a credit card, some are better than others but if you have one that "fights the fight" for you worse case you end up having the credit card company refund your money. Looking at the xplane.org website, they would appear they have a very good support system, especially when it comes to sales support. I found which appears to be the person. https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/167160-help-with-vkb-sim-gladiator-mkii-issue/&tab=comments#comment-1561172 Assuming it he's correct, I would call my credit card company and either file a warranty claim or dispute the charge. If your wondering the credit card offers the best in this area, either Citi cards or Chase Res

Watch the same people who complained in this thread will be complaining they rushed the release and demand it be updated.... if only I could really say how I feel LOL ...

I wonder who's the 3rd party shop?
-
I would not get my hopes up, if you read the EU store you get the following message. "We are expecting to receive the first batch of Gunfighter MCG Pro EN to fulfill pre-orders collected last year. It is on its way to the store. We are expecting to have the items in stock by March 7 and by that time the customers will start receiving a notification email with the payment link.Unfortunately this batch will not cover the full amount of reserved items. HQ is busy with the second batch which should cover the rest of the reservations" Of course no mention of the US store getting anything lol ... Seems all the stick-bases are completely pre-sold out and will be for the next batch also.
