Lately I have been dropping it from 40000ft over an airfield with no wind on a MP server and the results are amazingly interesting LOL .. in a very good way At low level I can get them to glide from 10KM away at Mach .90

I wonder if Heatblur will at least confirm they are looking at the Tornado as a possible DCS aircraft...:)

You know what also needs to be fixed is after 46000ft the engine shuts off

I shot down an J-11 last night with an AIM120 from a target that was not locked and I could not visually see him but he was locking me firing off his ETs. I shot into the dark and 15secs later and down he went.

I never understood why a Swedish made aircraft never had just one mission developed as if it was taking off or landing on a road in DCS, this was one of the main reasons the Viggen was built so it could hide in the forest and take off from a short road. Just one mission, all we got was Viggen missions in the desert (Red Flag) Lol

Sounds like a gear overhaul is needed.

Will - It might be a bad example as its from the AIM-120 AMRAAM training mission for the F-18 so everything you see in the screenshot is default including 40NM when you start the training mission and yes aircraft I think are about 10-15NM away, before the last few updates I would select AA>AIM-120 and use default radar settings using the TDC to lock a target and within 5-10secs no matter the range it would tell me if its friendly or not. Today I cannot do that so I am asking whats changed with it comes to IFF?

You lock at enemy target and all I get is a square box and not only that as you can see the "square" does not lock on to the selected target, that square you see disappears when its in the circle for longer range targets. I have watched Wags new videos on IFF and LTWS. Before I never had a problem, I come back after sometime in the F-14 and from the updates over the past 2 months for the F-18 this is the result. Very frustrating.... I like detail and checking all the buttons, but sometimes simple is best, especially when things are happening fast.

Viggen and M2000 are the most interesting imo... Viggen does take a little bit of time to learn

I hear ya, didn't call out anyone but look at the old F-14 thread, many players getting impatient for a release and now sky is falling because players assumed it would not be released by the end of March... All I am saying its starts as a small snowball but as it rolls down the hill get what happens... same crap goes on there, players get impatient and the pitchforks� come out demanding they get their F-14A, as for roadmaps/timelines they are useless if the Dev's don't follow them, HB have not been perfect in this area and all it does is puts them in a corner, I'm sure they are well aware of what they need to do. I'd like one just as much as you but if I was them I would not put one out, updates here every few months should be enough.

IMO HB need to focus and correct/fix the main issues with the F-14B (which is what I assume that's what they are doing) before they even release the F-14A, it's not even a month out yet (F14B) and your asking for the F-14A lol ... when does it end this need for putting pressure on the Devs to release aircraft before they are really ready, plus the Viggen still needs to be completed.

You guys asking the same question about a release date and in another post it's been answered. "We're planning to launch our early access product in summer 2019 if nothing goes wrong"

Does not matter, IMO has the best FM in the game and great for A-G modes
