Guys, finally I found the cause of problem, that's overheating. DCS would crash anytime the GPU temperature over 72* Celcius. So I tried to cool down the Case, it works and I got no more crash.

I flew 2 long sorties yesterday without crashing. it seems the last update has some positive changing.

Yes, I already set Page file from 5000-20000Mb, also turn off save power in all usb slots. :(

Hi all, I have problem with VR. DCS will crash every 20 minutes with any aircrafts. I tried reinstalling Oculus home, switching USB 3.0 port, removing fxo & metashader folders. DCS will be normal / no crash if I don't use VR. GPU driver updated to the latest patch. So anyone here knows the solution ? Log attached. dcs.log-20190420-161432.zip dcs.log-20190420-054204.zip

So now I can conclude there's something wrong with DCS VR. I've just finished playing with my friend as RIO in F14, no crash at all for 2 hours. Last night I tried another usb 3.0 port, reinstall Oculus home but problem remains. So I hope fix would be coming soon. For now TrackIR is a savior. :(

Do you have message "TrackIR device unplugged", If yes, reinstall Oculus, try switching your usb 3.0 port. disable USB power suspense.

Since I read somewhere that uninstall and reinstall F-14 could solve crashing problem, I did. Just done a multiplayers sorty with Su-25 and have no crash. I'll try again with VR. Mod could causes unbalancing to the game, like the A-4 mod when I was released, it causes crashing with Persian Gulf map. Maybe you should try. Edit: crash again in VR after 30 minutes.

Until now I have crashing with many modules like A-10c, Su-25, AJS37, Su-33, J11, Ka-50 ... Im trying removing the F-14 to see if anything better. I did 01 short sorty with Su-27 and have no crash. I'll try again later after going home.

DCS is now unplayable, it crashes randomly after 15-20 minutes or right after start-up with some aircrafts.

After reversing back to the previous patch, I have no crash at all. Edit: crash happened, but took longer time.

It seems only few people has problem like this, I don't see any complain out there in hoggit or FB. :cry: I'm going back to previous version to see if this thing is really a patch bug.

Because DX11backend.dll provided is not compatible with current DCS patch. I switched back to the original one. This is what happened. :( See logs dcs.log-20190412-052829.zip dcs.zip

I got crashes really bad after latest update. Usually happens after starting up aircrafts in Multiplayer. in Single player it lasts longer. After reading log I changed Dxbackend.dll file with the one provided in sticky post above (device removed bug smt). I tried removing fxo and metashader folders also. Another FW190 ? why ? It would be much great if that was a Stuka or IL-2, I would like to see an ww2 attacker airplane in DCS, we already have those ww2 tanks as target. Please !

LOOL, A-10C should be the first aircraft you need to buy. Then Ka-50 Blackshark for blowing stuffs while drinking coffee.
