Map making tools at the moment are restricted to third parties so you would have to apply and show your related skills. Based on what you wrote, I don't think the tools are what you expect.

Isn't it going to freak out every time it sees something entirely new just like any other deep learning technology? I mean that's a weakness of any deep learning technology over normal software solutions. It's good for games where content isn't going to change. In case of ED, they would have to re-learn the AI every time when there's something entirely new being added or changed. This does not sound so appealing. Place for my own opinion: Deep learning is BS unless you want to make things once and never touch them again. Otherwise you are just going to be fixing it endlessly.

That was already announced.

They are developing multicrew but only for aircrafts that are not dependent on it. For example the Huey where having a second pilot is a matter of slight convenience or the Mi-24 where you can still fly from the gunner's seat. It's questionable whether or not the F-111 falls into this category or if it's just too complicated for it. It's by far the best candidate based on the "It's complex" clue. I heard somewhere that it's supposed to be fixed wing aircraft but that information was passed over by someone so i don't have the original source. edit: I brought the F-111 back based on reasons mentioned above.

Yeah. I probably heard it in a documentary about F-117's development. Does the F-104 fall into the category of early low stability airframes? Because that could make it hard to fly. Another reduction to the list: A-4 Skyhawk F-104 Starfighter Sepecat Jaguar F-111 Aardvark Old/long out of service: English Electric Lightning F-105 Thundercheif Saab 35 Draken B-57 Canberra not hard to fly: Dassault Rafale F-117 Nighthawk F-22A Raptor F-35A Lightning II Saab JAS-39 Gripen requires multicrew: B-1B Lancer C-130 Hercules E-2 Hawkeye E-3 Sentry EA-6B Prowler KC-130 Hercules KC-135 Stratotanker Panavia Tornado Russian or similar: J-15 Flanker-X2 Mig-25 Foxbat Mig-29 Fulcrum Mig-31 Foxhound Mig-35 Fulcrum F Su-22 Fitter Su-24 Fencer Su-25 Frogfoot Su-27 Flanker Su-30 Flanker Su-34 Flanker Su-37 Flanker TU-22 Backfire not fixed wing: CH-47 Chinook UH-60 Blackhawk/Seahawk V-22 Osprey World war II or earlier: Hawker Nimrod similar to what we have: F-15C Eagle F/A-18 E/F/G Hornet

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but their history shows the opposite. That's why I ruled out aircrafts that absolutely need multi crew to operate.
-
Original designs of the F-104 and A-4 are old but these planes were upgraded and retired remotely recently (Let's say after 1990 is considered relatively modern). I agree that the Lightning needs to go from the list.

Here's a source stating that it's going to be complex: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4200775&postcount=237 I also decided to put the "not single pilot friendly" back into the main list because there are aircrafts like that in game or in development. My new best candidate in this is the F-117 because it's notorious for being very hard to fly. Making it's flight model would be a huge milestone as well as modeling it's stealthiness. Here is my updated reduced list: A-4 Skyhawk English Electric Lightning F-104 Starfighter F-117 Nighthawk Sepecat Jaguar F-111 Aardvark Old/long out of service: F-105 Thundercheif Saab 35 Draken B-57 Canberra not hard to fly: Dassault Rafale F-22A Raptor F-35A Lightning II Saab JAS-39 Gripen requires multicrew: B-1B Lancer C-130 Hercules E-2 Hawkeye E-3 Sentry EA-6B Prowler KC-130 Hercules KC-135 Stratotanker Panavia Tornado Russian or similar: J-15 Flanker-X2 Mig-25 Foxbat Mig-29 Fulcrum Mig-31 Foxhound Mig-35 Fulcrum F Su-22 Fitter Su-24 Fencer Su-25 Frogfoot Su-27 Flanker Su-30 Flanker Su-34 Flanker Su-37 Flanker TU-22 Backfire not fixed wing: CH-47 Chinook UH-60 Blackhawk/Seahawk V-22 Osprey World war II or earlier: Hawker Nimrod similar to what we have: F-15C Eagle F/A-18 E/F/G Hornet

Might get a little anoying with the Frozen stuff but this thing popped up. Again precisely cut to not include things at the end but this time it's a good thing.

I have decided to take the list posted earlier and sort it to rule out certain things. Another clue that I remember was that it's supposed to be very complex but I really don't know how to judge this. A-4 Skyhawk English Electric Lightning Dassault Rafale F-22A Raptor F-35A Lightning II F-104 Starfighter F-105 Thundercheif F-117 Nighthawk Saab 35 Draken Saab JAS-39 Gripen Sepecat Jaguar not single pilot friendly (may not be ruled out): B-57 Canberra F-111 Aardvark requires multicrew: B-1B Lancer C-130 Hercules E-2 Hawkeye E-3 Sentry EA-6B Prowler KC-130 Hercules KC-135 Stratotanker Panavia Tornado Russian or similar: J-15 Flanker-X2 Mig-25 Foxbat Mig-29 Fulcrum Mig-31 Foxhound Mig-35 Fulcrum F Su-22 Fitter Su-24 Fencer Su-25 Frogfoot Su-27 Flanker Su-30 Flanker Su-34 Flanker Su-37 Flanker TU-22 Backfire not fixed wing: CH-47 Chinook UH-60 Blackhawk/Seahawk V-22 Osprey World war II or earlier: Hawker Nimrod similar to what we have: F-15C Eagle F/A-18 E/F/G Hornet

I can only answer the second question. The map was developed by Ugra Media so place to discuss it is on their own sub-forum. https://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=501

numpad camera controls with eye tracker
Tomas9970 replied to Tomas9970's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
issue report https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4282244 -
Hello. Since I've plugged in the Tobii eye tracker, the camera controls on the numpad stopped working. More specificly the camera rotation. This problem persists even when the eye tracker is caged, unplugged or disabled. Turning off the Tobii software doesn't help either. I've also tried to rename the DCS.openbeta folder in the saved games directory to reset all the settings but that didn't solve the problem (I reverted that). Sometimes the camera rotates a bit after pressing the number keys but then snaps back to where it was. Only cockpit view is affected, any other view works as expected. I use the "free view" mode with no head tracking if that matters.

numpad camera controls with eye tracker
Tomas9970 replied to Tomas9970's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
New update. I've tried to shut down the Tobii eyeX and Tobii game hub software and unplugging the eye tracker to see if it's interfering in some way but it didn't help. I also tried to rename the DCS.openbeta folder in the saved games to reset the settings but the problem persisted even after that (I reverted that after seeing that it has no effect). There were cases where the camera rotated after pressing the number keys but then snapped back to where it was. One more thing. I use the "free view" mode with no head tracking if that matters. -
numpad camera controls with eye tracker
Tomas9970 posted a topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hello. Ever since I've plugged in the Tobii eye tracker, camera controls on the numpad have stopped working. It doesn't matter if the eye tracker is working, caged, disabled or unplugged. How do I get the numpad camera controls back? -
Another one. Warning: Major spoiler for anyone who wants to see Frozen II but haven't already.

Where iIs The A-10C EDM Model File Hidden
Tomas9970 replied to NeoMorph WTH's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
There's no need to have the open beta version. The folder should be "DCS world\Bazar\World\Shapes" for the stable version of the game. -
Where iIs The A-10C EDM Model File Hidden
Tomas9970 replied to NeoMorph WTH's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
It's in "DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\World\Shapes" called "A-10.EDM". All older addons have their EDM files in that folder. -
I'm not sure where to put this but since it's accesed from the mission editor, I guess this is the right place. First of huge thanks for fixing the memory leak and making this useful again. It's nice to be able to record replays with max settings without having to worry about their length. There are two bugs with this feature related to hovering your system cursor over the recording window. First one is that when you move your system cursor anywhere on the recording window, it makes the recorded cursor (blue one) appear as if it was moved even if it's not the case. This is visible in the recording as well. Second one is that when your system cursor is on the recording window and a button label pops up, it appears at the location of the system cursor instead of at the location of the recorded cursor and the button itself.

As a fan of Frozen, I of course can't miss these two. Second one is the credits song so that's why there is no "in movie" clip.

[Old] FAQ Eurofighter Typhoon - Guided Discussion
Tomas9970 replied to DashTrueGrit's topic in DCS: Eurofighter
Are you going to include the Taurus cruise missile? -
The Typhoon is coming. It's in the newsletter. It looks like it won't have the Meteor missiles.

Ok. My bad.
