  1. Was in the Air Force for a few years. Been around bombers and fighters. They are freaking LOUD. Even at idle, standing a 100 feet away, your ear drums will hurt. I don't have the F-14 module, so I don't know what you all are experiencing but if you want realism, it's gonna hurt your ears. Lol. Though, it sounds like there might be volume balance issue relative to other sounds from some of the posts?
  2. oh... i thought you made a sound mod.
  3. If you want to simulate this just stare at your screen for an hour.
  4. I made a thread about this a very long time ago. Along with shake effects for bomb release and nobody cared for it. Thread went dead very quickly.
  5. I returned my X52 Pro after a day. My hands were not liking the shape and the rotary knobs on the throttle were cumbersome to use. The quality seemed good, it just wasn't for me. The top left hat switch on the joystick kept bothering my thumb. The 2 buttons were to far to the left. I don't know. Guess I'm the oddball out.
  6. I bought an MSI-AG32C Perspective and immersion is even better now with the curve. I tried my flat screen after a month of using the curve and immediately switched back to the curve. It looks and feels so much better to use. Not only in DCS but with virtually anything I do on my PC. Check the panel type when buying. Either an IPS or VA is the preferred choice compared to a TN.
  7. So the pilot is wrong?
  8. Didn't a real pilot say in the recent Q/A about the A-10C that the engines in DCS are underpowered compared to the real thing? I remember the person also mentioning that DCS is suite 3 and currently the A-10C is on suite 8 or 9. I'm trying to find the thread edit: Found it. "Q: MajorMoore Is the A10s engines power in dcs realistic as it is in real I live right next to nellis and and I'm on the base a couple times a week and the a10 compared to f22 or f15 is relatively quiet compared to the big afterburners A: From what I've seen, DCS engines are less powerfull than the actual A-10 engines. However, you are correct; without afterburners we simply don't produce that raw sound like the pointy nose guys." https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=170487
  9. 1. Would it be possible to have a shake, bump, moving effect that varies with landing descent rate? Whether on a runway or carrier landing? 2. Camera effect for stall and buffet? 3. A subtle camera effect upon bomb/missile release?
  10. I experienced a crash, on the first mission of the campaign, when clicking battery on as well
  11. everything maxed out on 1080p resolution. HDR or deferred shading gives good fps
  12. Deferred shading improves the color but HDR does have appealing lighting/shading. Night flying looks better to me with HDR on, but Deferred looks better during the day.
