Well, they crash in the ocean with a huge splash which actually is quite choreographic but unfortunately gets into the way of my success in the campaign. Jokes apart, I assume in some cases they are too heavy for a carrier take off, or maybe they don’t know how to compensate for a heavy payload.

Hey there: I am trying the campaign using the AV8B from east carrier (Tarawa). Unfortunately, probably due to the payload, all wingmen crash on takeoff in any CAS or strike mission. Is there anyone with the same problem who knows how to prevent this ? I would really like to use this campaign with the Harrier and do carrier operations, but not if I every strike mission is a bloodbath for my wingmen...

Hey there, I have a weird problem presenting itself just on this scenario/mission. I use the AV8B. After spawning the mission and getting coordinates from JTAC, I try to add a waypoint through aircraft system. The problem is that I can get it on the UFC but the EHSD doesn't "get" the info I input to dreate a waypoint by inputing the JTAC (or map) LL informations. Any other mission doesn't get this problem and let me add/edit waypoints within the aircraft, while in this specific mission whatever I input isn't reflected into the EHSD... any clue about what I should do or if this is a known problem ?

Guys I'm getting a bit desperate here... after following all tutorials and so, if I try to add a waypoint, I can get everything working on the UFC (so for every wpt that I add, I can see the right coordinates listed on UFC when I click on POS), but I can't get it on the EHCD/map, which simply keeps showing all 0s (zeroes) for the waypoint I added. Even if I get out of "data" mode and get back in, on the UFC all coordinates are listed, but nothing on the MAP/EHCD... What am I doing wrong ?!? EDIT: sorry, this is true just for the Through The Inferno - Persian Gulf scenario. Other missions don't represent this kind of issues...

Same here: true both in FA18 as well as AV8B, issuing orders like “engage ground targets” and/or (if ground targets are mission primary targets) “engage mission and rejoin”.

Thanks Sedlo, now my comms are working (tough the wingman acts quite weird independently of what I tell him to do... but this is not your fault...): didn’t knew about this Hornet “preference”...

Hey Sedlo, I’m using the easy comms, so in order to bring out the menu my default key bind is “\” (Italian kb, US should tilde ?), weird thing is that till my wingmen take off, everything works. I can get the comm menu with all the various (flight, wingman, ATC, etc) options as soon as I push the key... and then suddenly the key doesn’t work anymore...

Hey Sedlo, trying this campaign after the wonderful Vulcan Forge in AV8B. I'm trying the first mission but I have a weird problem: after Colt 2 (my wingman) take off, there's no more way to access the communication menu. I keep pressing both the keyboard key as well as the HOTAS button but the comm menu never shows up again (while before Colt 2 takes off and on the ground everything works). I've even tried to reassign the comm menu button to other keys (both on HOTAS as well as keyboard) without success... Any suggestion about what can cause this issue ? Ah, 2nd question (less important): is there any way to show labels ? I'm playing in VR and seeing the targets in the first mission is quite hard without at least some small help... Grazie delle risposte. Nessuno degli "occasionali" come me ha esperienza con Blue Flag (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=175262) ? Anche se c'è parecchio da imparare, pare un server in cui si potrebbe entrare in maniera saltuaria (ovviamente registrandosi prima)...

Going back to stock missions after finishing the wonderful Vulcan Forge campaign, doing the A2A mission "Carrier Defense - Daytime" on 2.5.1 Open Beta. Wingmen don't join up and simply orbit the carrier, while enemy aircrafts (SU24s) don't engage back me nor defend themselves when I attack them. BTW it seems they're unnaturally resistant to AIM9 and guns (it takes a lot of direct hits to simply damage them without splashing them). Anybody else flown this mission on 2.5.1 and saw those weird behaviours ?

Ciao a tutti, sono Itarrow bambinone cresciuto di 50 anni (vabbeh quasi... tra un mesetto). Gioco a simulatori di volo da parecchio (tipo dallo Spectrum) anche se negli ultimi decenni molto occasionalmente (sai com’è... famiglia, figli, lavoro, demenza senile). Mi sto ora dilettando con AV8B e vorrei fare qualche voletto in compagnia senza però troppi impegni (che probabilmente non riuscirei a rispettare): ho dato un’occhiata alla descrizione dei vari server italiani (soprattutto) e stranieri e non ho ben capito come fare a trovarne uno che vada bene per utenti occasionali... posso chiedervi una mano a capire come fare (se poi ce ne fosse uno italiano tanto meglio) ? Ah gioco con il Vive, quindi se ci sono le label meglio... però vabbeh in caso contrario mi adatto...

Second that: even comms menus aren't visible with NVG on now...
