  1. No, J-11A comes with the Su-27 as well, has been for some time
  2. You can still edit them on, you have to modify the weapons loadout preset and input the CLID for the R-77/SD-10 into a loadout
  3. Desync isnt realistic. Missiles not giving RWR warnings because of netcode isnt realistic. How is asking for that asking for less realism?
  4. The thing is... I see literally just as much of that from the "casual" players. Just scroll on hoggit or the GS discord for a few mins. Saltyness and whining is everywhere in DCS, and I dont see it any more prevalent in competitive players than I do in casual/PvE/milsimmers. The truth is, having flown and talked with a lot of them, 99% of "SATAL" players are ordinary people are arent salty/whiny players, and you probably wouldnt even know unless they mentioned it. Sure, theres always the salty 1% of SATAL players, and unfortunately they tend to be the easiest to notice and the most prevalent. The vocal minority so to speak. However, they are not representative of 99% of competitive DCS players.
  5. My point is that people say competitive PvP players are playing the "wrong game" because realistically, war isnt fair. And im saying by that standard, everyone is playing the wrong game, as nobody is playing this game 100% realistically. The point being, the fact that you dont like PvP doesnt mean that you have to crap on those that dont
  6. The problem is that desync and broken missiles affect everyone. Not just the "competitive players". Would you appreciate being in a SP campaign and not being able to fight F-14s because AIM-54s dont give RWR alerts?
  7. I guess that anyone not playing ultrarealistic milsim is playing the "wrong game"? After all, its a sim, not a game . After all, ive yet to see someone uninstall the game because they crashed witout ejecting...
  8. Dashed line is the F-4 WCS DLZ, so not really relevant, the solid line is the actual kinetic performance
  9. So your saying every DLZ out there for literally every other missile is wrong because its not a perfect ellipse??? Heres 2 examples for the AIM-7 (Solid black line is Rmax) You mean to tell me both the RuAF and the USAF dont know how to draw diagrams for their own militaries?

  11. Just a note, but as far as I can tell the whole AIM-120A cant loft thing appears to be a myth. I was under that impression as well, but after doing some digging, I simply cant find any sources supporting this claim. For example, weapons manuals for the F-16 mention the loft steering cues without making any distinction between the 120A and B, same with the F-18 weapons manual.
  12. +1, notices this earlier today. As a workaround, cycling to RWS and back to TWS fixes it.
  13. Sorry, ment to reply but didnt get around to it. That is somewhat intentional; I havent done any detailed testing with those missiles so I havent added them, but i forgot to delete them from the table of contents. As for the missing AIM-54 indexes, thats definitely not intended, and I will probably update that soon.
  14. at 12.5 Gs, not 9Gs
  15. wikipedia is not a reliable source over actual flight manuals and first hand SME accounts.
  16. I know, my comparison was not HPRF to MPRF, but rather the high peak power MPRF of the APG-68 to the lower peak MPRF of other radars, specifically the APG-73
  17. No. Quite simply, the fact that the display scale goes to 160nm doesnt mean youll ever see a target that far out
  18. No to #1 (at least in DCS), IDK about #2
  19. You've modeled it in SP. Is it too much to ask for it in MP as well? Its the same system/mechanic that works in SP, we arent asking for a new form of DL or something, or some new DL features.
  20. Even within a flight P2P does not work in MP for the Su-27. And even still, if it works differently IRL, doesnt that still classify as a bug even if its due to a lack of feature modeling?
  21. Are you then implying we are supposed to have DL on our F-15, and that its why you havent added P2P DL to the Su-27 yet? Otherwise im not sure how its relevant to the topic of bugs/missiles, specifically the Su-27 P2P bug?
  22. Another note on the F-16 MPRF, and why its MPRF is so good. Because it doesnt use HPRF, they can get away with quite high peak powers compated to HPRF radars while keeping average power low. For reference, the APG-66 operates at a 21.5 kW peak power, and the 68 is at 17.5 kW. This contrasts to the AGP-63 which is 13 kW, with the AWG-9 in the same range. APG-65 is around 5 kW (hard to find an exact number though), as is the N001. So thats part of the tradeoff of optimizing for MPRF.
  23. No, I intended to respond but have been quite busy, TBH theres not much point making tracks for this. Ive notched and chaffed enough 120s to know it has effects on both the B and C. The fact that the missile isnt making a 40G turn towards the chaff (which was unrealistic, and fixed) doesnt mean it has no effect. Chaff increases the odds of the missile breaking lock and not reacquiring.
  24. Any range within TCS range, and no it doesnt bite on chaff, nor can it be notched. You cant do anything to counter a TCS guided AIM-54 within the NEZ
