Upon further investigation, there are non keyboard commands that work except those assigend to my HOTAS. I look in the Key Command mapper and nothing is mapped to the Keyboard except those key I mapped to the HOTAS. What is going on?
-
This is weird, I just manually assigned the Pause/Break button to the Pause command in the stick file and it worked. It unpaused the sim and I could fly fine. But when I press the escape button, it doesn't work to end the game and I have to give the 3 finger salute to stop the sim. I am investigating further.

For some reason the Pause/Break button does not respond in any mission where I fly the A-10. The sim works fine with any other aircraft but the A-10. It worked for a couple of times then I boot it up today to fly the Quickstart mission and I can look around the cockpit using TrackIR but can do nothing else. I tried a mission I made with the A-10 and same result. I then tried the missions that came with FC 2 and got the same result. Anyone else notice this problem. I am a HOG driver in this sim and am dead in the water right now.

Master Arm Key Command?
Dusty Rhodes replied to Dusty Rhodes's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I can't even pull up the gun to fire the gun. It just stays in NAV mode. -
Which key is the Master Arm on/off for the A-10 in FC2? I can't find it anywhere in the key commands listing. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
-
To add to the weirdness, I CTL ALT DEL and close the program and it closes the Quick Flight and returns me to the UI which I have full control over. I quick flighted a couple of times but now it freezes up when I enter the cockpit in free flight with the A-10. I am going to go back to the key commands and make sure I didn't change something I shouldn't have, but I don't think I did.
-
I installed everything and it went in flawlessly. I tinkered around with flying the Free Flight and making a stick file. Now though when I go into Free Flight, the screen freezes at the screen where it tells you to hit PAUSE BREAK. Any help on this or should I just reinstall?

*** Official ED Campaign Creation Competition ***
Dusty Rhodes replied to Arne Anka's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
When this contest started, I didn't have the time to make a campaign (I have done one small campaign before to test my skills. It sucked but I tried and learned a great deal. That was with version 1.0 and not the enhancements of 1.01). If the contest had started now, I would have had the time to do it. I may just do one anyway when I finish up with some other gaming commitments I started recently. It won't be fancy schmancy, but it will be serviceable and the effort will be there. -
"...obviously the Work on FC 2.0 delays the work on further DCS stuff..." Obviously eh? Ever think it might enhance what they are doing or be a part of a master plan of releases to maximize releases and quality?

Yipee!!!!!!!!!!! Another campaign. And Multiplayer. I am getting happier by the minute. Any other campaigns being made? Step up and let us know. So far I count 3. This makes the replayability of BS so much more. Way to go people! -

Wags posted this on the previous page of this thread: "I will push it back to 10 December (an additional month), unless I hear from anyone that objects and will have their campaign ready on 10 November." Can't get more officail then that. -
Open the mission using the mission editor and go to the Helo you want to change and change the loadout and then save your work and the default will now show up as what you loaded it up with. It takes a little knowledge of the mission editor to accomplish this but it is a very simple task.

DRAGONs BS2 TRAININGPACK
Dusty Rhodes replied to STP Dragon's topic in User Created Missions General
I don't know if you forgot anything but I can't wait for this to come out. It will be good for everyone. Thanks in advance. -
My thoughts exactly. If you have nothing constructive to say please stay out of the thread. Between the manual and asking someone for the answer, neither ranks above the other in an order that should be followed. We are all sources of information just like that manual. If you don't want to answer the question or all you can say is RTFM, then stay of out of the thread and let the people that want to be here to help, help.
-
And it may be it doesn't come across because of language barriers. Or let me ask you this, what makes reading the manual any better source of info then just asking a question from the vast knowledge of simmers we have that are glad to help someone asking a question? They are both the same thing, Viper, sources of info and accessible to all. One shouldn't have to prioritize how and when they use a source as they are all equally accessible and equally qualitative. I stand by.........RTFM is a rude answer!
-
RTFM is not an acceptable answer to anyone. How do you know if he/she didn't already do so. If you don't know the answer then stay clear of the thread. If you know the answer then be nice enough to actually help by answering the question. RTFM is rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dragon, my wingie, Griff, and I flew your mission pack at our recent LAN this last weekend and we wanted to compliment you on the quality of work you put out. FANTASTIC missions. We also learned that they are not for a 2 man squad but rather you need to fill the choppers available to stand a chance to have mission success. No matter, we had fun trying and met with some success after changing our tactics. Bottom line, thank you very much for your mission pack, and the hard work that went along with it. We can't wait to see your next mission pack.

Do we know how many people are attempting this? -
I love the excitement of building a new rig. So fresh and clean and you know the performance is going to be there. Good luck and congrats.
-
And sit there they will unless given a walking task by the mission builder.
