Search these board here for DCS Max by Skypat. OUTSTANDING program that assists BS a lot in the FPS dept. It has some other useful tools inside of it. If I run across the thread, I will forward it to you, but for now do a search of these boards of Skypat and DCSMax.

It can benefit from multicore with the i7 chip I am using, using DCSMax under Win Vista 64 Home Premium. I also ran BS under Win XP and used DCSMax to stablize my FPS.

I have TrackIR 3 Pro with 6 DOF and I don't know how I would sim without it. I also don't see the need to upgrade from what I have. It works great and has all the fields of vision. I just don't see TIR as a purchase but as an investment into my hobby.

Did you set a target point? The target point should be the same size as your max effective range of your weapons for the AC you are setting the target point for. You must also, after setting the target point, specify what you want the AC to target.....Helo........ground vehicles.......buildings, etc. You also must make sure that the target of the Helo is in it's field of vision.

Try a different angle/position of attack. Remember the HAWK radar is directional and not 360 degree's. Get in it's blind spot and go to town, literally :D

Sometimes in different places and different languages. You just have to look for it. I don't think anyone is getting Ganked.

I think it is a two way street. We get some exclusive info, they get it but that is really splitting hairs. The pics are on the ED message board for all to see. Just because it isn't in the English section doesn't mean they are getting anything more then we do. Our stuff is right here for them to see, on the ED boards.

hehehehe, Oh I am all over the A-10 believe me. I should have said that it gives both AA and AG capabilities so the best of both worlds instead of mentioning just CAS.

ROTFLMAO oh how many times has this happened to me in my simming career. I think Falcon 4 got me the Stank Eye and silent treatment more than any other sim. I have learned to try and turn my simming on and off like a light switch or I get too, shall we say, emotional. LOL

I would like to see the E so we get the best of both worlds. CAS and Air Superiority.

My opinion changes as the wind blows a different direction but right about now I would like to see A-10 AH-64A MI-28N MIG-29 F-16 SU-27 or 33 with Carrier Ops F-18 with carrier Ops SU-25t F-15 In that order. Now it may change as I get different modules. But that balances the Red and Blue and gives some CAS and Air to Air fighting. Just my not so humble opinion.

LOL, yeah, it is all fun and no Auto Hover until you turn on Turbulence and some wind. Then let the fun begin. If you prefer to fight it and keep it in a hover then more power to ya. AH is there as an aid, to be used or not used. I prefer to use it as it improves my SA. One less thing to worry about when I put it in the hover. I gots killin' to do and I don't want to have to fight the wind and turbulence while I'm doing my killin'. :D

I love your DCSMax as it has done wonders for my sim play with increased FPS. My question is that you have this program to force the use of CPU cores, is there any way to write a program to force the use of more then one GPU? I am sure the answer is "if it could be done then it would have already been done", but I thought I would ask. I have a GTX 295 in my machine and one sitting on my shelve doing nothing. My gaming is flight simming so nothing takes advantage of a second GPU that I sim.

Does this mean DCS BS would utilize a second GPU, cuz I have one in my cabinet just sitting there wasting money.

Well I would say that indeed that is an FBI clue that something is amiss somewhere. I never really fingered out that part of the mission builder as is evident. I would say to go back and disect some of the missions that came with the sim and see how they did the probability thing. I learned loads on mission building with the new features by just dissecting the campaign and single missions that came with the sim.

I think we will see fast movers before the MI-28, but I hope it is put on the list and pretty high up, with left side right side cockpit MP of course ;)
