  1. No secrets, just watch these videos and practice until you get it right. Helicopter flying requires continuous training. AH-64D Deceleration to an OGE Hover
  2. Hello everyone, I am currently looking into the DCS Warehouse and need a tip or even a solution for my project, as I have not really found a suitable answer so far. I'll try to describe my project as well as possible. The initial situation is a FARP(FARP_London) somewhere in the field, which has no weapons or fuel. I want to supply it with a slingload cargo. When dropping in the trigger zone 'FARP_London_Dropzone' of the cargo 'FARP_London_Ammo_1', for example, the number of AGM-114K in the FARP should be increased by 12. My question now is how I can implement this with a script, for example. Since this action is to be carried out later with several Cargos, the supply should be increased each time these Cargos are dropped in that zone. It would be great if you could give me a tip or something similar. Many thanks and best regards T-Bone dcs_warehouse_test.miz
  3. Thank you for the quick solution!
  4. Hello everyone, I have a question about the mission editor and the subsequent changing of positions of units and structures. Idea: The plan is to have various units and structures such as FARP tent, FARP ammo and fuel truck in an area of an airport, this should represent a kind of warehouse. These should then change their position when certain cargos are set down in a trigger zone. I want to simulate a functional FARP set-up in the field and at the same time introduce some immersion, as the warehouse is then gradually emptied. I went looking for appropriate scripts and included an example in the attached .miz. It works so far, but the FARP tent always spawns at the bullseye and not at the position I defined (in the example at Tabqa airport) Does anyone have an idea how I can solve this behaviour? unit_location.miz
  5. I am aware that it could be the pitot probes, but as I wrote, the anti-ice system is not implemented yet. My question is whether the Apache is affected by icing in its current state and simulates errors or not. It makes no sense to fly in certain weather conditions without this system and I have to take this into account when creating the mission.
  6. We recently flew a mission in sub-zero temperatures (-10°) and strong winds (~20 knots) and had the phenomenon in all aircraft at some point that our speed was no longer displayed correctly or provided incorrect values in the IHADSS. I know that the anti-ice system still needs to be developed and implemented. However, I am primarily concerned with the question of whether icing can occur at the current stage of development and whether the helicopter is affected or not. If so, then we need to pay more attention to the weather conditions. If not, then I would like to try to create a bug report. Thanks for your answers.
  7. With the update: 2.9.3.51704 there is a stuttering during the movement of the PNVS. The stuttering effect increases with increasing speed of the aircraft. Tested on two systems with both AMD and Nvidia GPUs. Deleting the fxo and metashader2 folders did not solve the problem. pnvs_stutter.zip
  8. Can you please make a short trackfile of it? I personally find the stability very good since the last patch.
  9. One idea for the Chinook's sling load would be if it were possible to change the cable length and attachment points via the armament menu, like the Apache's internal tank/FCR(soon). You could create a "Cargo Station" field in the menu and select different configurations there: - 1 Hook: 10m - 1 Hook: 15m - 1 hook: 20m - 2 hooks: 10m - 2 hooks: 15m - and so on... Just as a thought
  10. Good to know, thank you
  11. I just tested it myself, same behavior as you and AndreNL, only when the Hellfire tracks a laser is it possible to switch the ACQ to SKR.
  12. Test it with an active laser from a drone or similar, then the selection of the SKR will work. I think there is a dependency on whether the missile follows a laser or not.
  13. With reference to the following bug report: TSD Point Rings - Bugs and Problems - ED Forums (dcs.world) If the bug of the TSD rings will be fixed, it would be good to check the behaviour when sending via datalink. As described above, the TG arrives but no rings are displayed even though they are set.
  14. Can also confirm the bug, no more circles are displayed around your own created points. missing_rings.trk
  15. Possible state bug when switching the radar ELEV between AUTO and MANUEL: - In AUTO mode, targets are detected and displayed. - After switching to MAN and changing the ELEV, FCR no longer finds any targets - Reset to AUTO -> Ping again -> No results - Change again to MANUEL -> ELEV remains the same as before -> Targets are recognized again. fcr_manual_range.trk
  16. See last FCR-Video in the description: NOTE 3. We will add the FCR to the reloading pop-up.
  17. Bug is still present in 2.9.1.48335 mi8_multicrew_slingload_2.trk mi8_multicrew_slingload_1.trk
  18. When transferring target information via a data link, an error occurs in the distance circles of the created target points. Settings: TSD -> ATK phase THRT DISPLAY -> THREATS & TARGETS COORD SHOW -> ENEMY UNITS As an example, an S6 is created in the TSD, the creator displays both the red and yellow circle as well as the symbol correctly. This TG is now sent to another Apache via POINT-XMIT. This receives it and also sees it as a declared S6, but the two circles are not displayed. The error is generated in the same way if the other Apache also generates such a TG and this is subsequently sent to . Trackfiles: datalink_bug_cpg.trkdatalink_bug_pilot.trk
  19. I have noticed a strange behavior when refueling with the full auxiliary tank Tank. As soon as it is equipped and flown empty, only 410lb instead of 660lb are refueled. To have a full auxiliary tank again, you have to deselect it in the armament menu and re-equip it, then it has its full capacity of 660lb again. ah64_aft_bug.trk
  20. Why don't we need it?
