fixed ME - Crashes when copying and pasting units
[DE] T-Bone replied to Kanelbolle's topic in Mission Editor Bugs
Same here -
We have checked this several times, as well as our CMWS and ASE settings, in most cases the CPG hears no audio warning. As I said, we are trying to generate a .trk file.
-
After the fix we still have the problem that the CPG does not get an audio warning. We are now trying to log this with a .trk file. We suspect that this error only occurs after some flight time, regardless of the size of the mission.
-
This error is still present and very annoying. Over 1 year has passed since the reporting, when will this error be fixed? Do you need more track files or similar? If yes, please send us a feedback.
-
Bump, has anyone figured out how to get it to work again? I put it in the saved game/sound folder but it doesn't work.
-
I have to agree with FalcoGer. It is very frustrating to spend time and energy finding bugs and then find that they are not followed up and reported appropriately. Two examples: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/304743-eufd-warning-util-hyd-level-low-when-unlocking-tail-wheel-on-any-carrier/#comment-5059668 or https://forum.dcs.world/topic/306016-gun-shakes-on-movement-while-lasing/#comment-5054968 Unanswered for half a year. Not even a statement that the matter is under investigation or anything like that.... This is very frustrating for your customers who are trying to let you know that something is wrong. I would also like to see better communication and quality in bug reports. We're happy to help with more track files or videos or give you log files, but we need active feedback from you. And I would appreciate ED commenting on how they feel about it and what actions they will take. Introducing a bugtracker would be very helpful.

A separate multicrew seat with switchable snap view for the "hell hole" for better pilot briefing during the sling load.
-
It should be possible to use the 3 load hooks of the Chinook variably. 1 hook For loads such as the DCS internal tetrapod load object or a single HMMWV. 2 hooks For transporting howitzers or larger vehicles such as fuel trucks, LAV. 3 hooks For transporting multiple fuel tanks.
-
+1 An extensive internal logistics system should be essential for the Chinook. Just picking up infantry with appropriate animation and weight distribution would be a big win for immersion....

w.i.p Attitude Hold Mode doesnt engage in Hover.
[DE] T-Bone replied to [DE] T-Bone's topic in Bugs and Problems
Can you please create a separate thread for the ALT error and upload a track file? Then it won't get lost here and can be dealt with explicitly. That would be great -
w.i.p Attitude Hold Mode doesnt engage in Hover.
[DE] T-Bone replied to [DE] T-Bone's topic in Bugs and Problems
I tried it again and trimmed before activating the ATT Hold, this then worked again. However, the SAS started to oscillate the helicopter. You can see this behaviour from 08:09:45 in the second track file. @BIGNEWY I have never experienced this oscillation before. Maybe the behaviour in the second track file will help you tweak and adjust the modes. atthold_oszilliation.zip -
Hi, it looks like the ATT hold function is faulty, it cannot be activated in hover. In the track file I try to activate it first in hover (ALT hold works), which does not work. However, it can be activated in forward flight, but no longer in the second hover. Reproducible with hot/cold-start as in sp/mp. Greetings T-Bone ATT_Hold_bug.zip

reported LOS reticle | Desync between Pilot and CPG when using LMC
[DE] T-Bone replied to [DE] T-Bone's topic in Bugs and Problems
Negative, this bug was already present before the 2.8 update. The delayed bug report is due to my lack of time. -
Hi, as soon as the human CPG activates the LMC, there are significant desynchronisations of the LOS crosshairs in IHADSS. This is observed with both multi- and local servers. To reproduce this, I created the track files at my two places (CPG-PC/Pilot-Simpit) within a network. I can reproduce it 100% at any time and unfortunately this makes the LMC effectively useless in its application. To avoid this bug we no longer use LMC. Greetings T-Bone Edit_1: Has been listed multiple times as fixed before, but is not the case. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/openbeta/2.7.12.23362/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/openbeta/2.7.11.22041/ LMC Desync Package.zip

reported Symbology Select Up/Dn not working correctly in multicrew
[DE] T-Bone replied to Floyd1212's topic in Bugs and Problems
Should rather be labelled as reported or investigating. -
fixed VID-Modes in MPD | Weird behavior
[DE] T-Bone replied to [DE] T-Bone's topic in Bugs and Problems
Correct, but as described in the old thread, a separate thread should be created for each bug. Therefore I created one explicitly for the VID bug. -
reported Symbology Select Up/Dn not working correctly in multicrew
[DE] T-Bone replied to Floyd1212's topic in Bugs and Problems
Your explanation is correct. Once you are alone in the MP, the modes work as they should. As soon as a human CPG gets in, the error occurs. And the error occurs on the pilot seat as well as on the CPG seat. Edit: Added track files from CPG seat. IHADDS-Symb.Bug.trk DxDiag.txt Logs.zip IHADDS-Symb.Bug_CPG.trk -
re-map deleted keybinds Has something changed with keybinds?
[DE] T-Bone replied to Hippo's topic in Bugs and Problems
Resetting the keybinds on Pilot/CPG did not solve the problem for me, it is still the case that when a CPG enters via MP the Cockpit, the modes skip as in my trackfile. -
Tested it again with DCS Open Beta 2.7.18.30348. When moving over a target with an active laser and the distance changes quickly, the weapon twitches left or right. It seems that the TSE is trying to compensate for the new distance and aligns the weapon too quickly. In my opinion this is not a bug, but the behavior of the TSE needs some fine tuning.
