  1. +1 The 425 rounds per gun/3400 rounds total are even mentioned on both the module shop page and its flight manual! So I think they really should raise the max ammo to 425 per gun, with the option to reduce it for A/A work.
  2. Hi there, I noticed that there seems to be a loadout restriction that does not allow to carry a TALD on station 4 (rear left) when 3 Mk83 are present on station 3 (front left). This does not make sense to me as the same restriction does not exist for stations 6 and 5 (resp. front right and rear right) and the screenshots below show that the bombs are exactly in the same spot and so do the TALDs (neither are staggered). I believe the restriction should be removed for stations 3 and 4. Thanks Stray
  3. Hi, Toggling the breaker the breaker P1 disables both nose MGs and inner wing MGs. It should only disable the inner wing MG's The breaker P2 works correctly and only disables nose MG's It would be nice to have this bug corrected so that we could better manage our guns (fire nose and inner wing guns independently) :) Happy flying !
  4. Hi, I'm a confirmed DCS flyer with more than 300 logged hours on hardcore modules (AV8B and FA18 ) in a couple virtual squadrons since 2013 I'm looking for an immersive and realistic minded sqn (good brevity is a big plus for immersion) The catch is that I'm only available on weekdays evenings from 18:30z onwards Please get in touch if you host regular training/missions that may fit in my schedule Happy flying :pilotfly:
  5. +1, here is my track, happened in MP. http://dl.free.fr/gBQExEhSy Attempts to fire were made during the 10 last minutes of track. Akula,
  6. Hi, I think that some additional items in the Jester menu would be really usefull in BVR : Next Launch to a specfic TWS target Do Not Attack a specific TWS target Missile Options switch, especially PH active It would help to sort out targets between different flight members in MP. What would also help is a better management of the scan volume in TWS, it's hard to keep track until pitbull at the moment. Apart from that, Jester is pretty helpfull in WVR and for managing TACAN and comms, keep it up Heatblur !
  7. I fully agree with you, I think more transparency regarding the state of completion and ETA of Early Access modules would help the customer choose whether he should buy now or wait.
  8. +1 en AV8B stp (a.k.a 131st Flanker)
  9. Bonjour, Désolé pour l'inscription tardive Ce serait possible un AV8B en bleu ?
  10. Up ! Bug is still present on 2.5.2, is there any fix in the pipeline regarding this issue ?
  11. Hi there, I've also noticed that the sound of the GAU12 was weird recently, I think that's a regresion from when the gun used to have a placeholder sound instead. A couple of patches ago the sound effect was much better but it seems that for some reason Razbam has reverted to this placeholder sound. Maybe the question should be asked in the bugs section ? Akula
  12. Thanks paeagle, I'll give it a try ! ;)
  13. Hi Razbam, Could you please add the possibility to bind JPTL and ANTISKID switches to a keyboard press, they are not curently in the list of controls. That would be really nice to have them mapped on my HOTAS :pilotfly: Cheers, Akula
  14. Hi there ! I know that Razbam wants to remove all Mav variants except G and E 'cause they were not use in operations. However, restricting the loadouts to what has actaully been used and not what the A/C is capable of seems like a big mistake to me. Let me explain, if a group of Harrier II is to provide CAS from a FARP, I would like them to use the lighter D version so that they can carry 4 of them while retaining a decent combat radius (fuel). IMHO, restricting the loadouts to those used in RL restricts the freedom and imagination of the mission makers and the number of scenarios in which the aircraft can effectively be used. :( Please, for the sake of the community, let the mission maker choose whether they want to stick to the RL loadouts or use the aircaft's capabilities to thein full extent ! :joystick: Akula, out !
  15. The F15 had a major modification in order to use these pylons : the A and C have hydro-mechanical flight controls whereas the SA has a Digital Flight Control System In case of the Harrier II, the differences between the British and US variants are mostly avionics so I am pretty sure that the AV8B could use the outrriger pylons without significant change of its flying qualities ;)
  16. @Rocky : just select the greyed out keybinding and press default, it should go blue and work again until you respawn in a new plane
  17. +1 for B and C I've never had a Sidearm refusing to fire though
  18. Hi, I think it would be a nice idea to add the outrigger pylons to the loadout options. I know they're only used on British Harrier II's, in fact they were also available for USMC AV8B's but not authorized for carriage (a bit like the DDM pylons on the Mirage 2000C) Just let the mission maker decide if he wants to stick to real life loadouts or if he wants to carry up to 6 AIM9's (or 6 Sidearms  ) That could open some interesting possibilities for "swing-role" missions or SEAD suppression :joystick: PS : I've attached the following extracts from the AV8B Tactical manual to prove my point
  19. I have this issue as well, it's really annoying to default the SS switch bindings every now and then, could you please advise me if you found a workaround ?
  20. +1 Having an up-to-date guide would really help making the most out of the news functionnalities Keep up the good work Razbam
  21. Cheers Cobra for the heads up, can't wait for next release ! :pilotfly:
  22. Hi, I just found out that not only does the ATERSTART button close the HP fuel valve, it also prevents further engine restarts even if you unlock the throttle by clicking on it. It seems like after you presed ATERSTART, the fuel valve is permanently shut no matter what you do next.
  23. Okay I think I figured it out, Not only does the ATERSTART button close the HP fuel valve, it also prevents further engine restarts even if you unlock the throttle by clicking on it. It seems like after you presed ATERSTART, the fuel valve is permanently shut no matter what you do next. Hence, as I was always following the procedure and trying ATERSTART first, I could not perform any sucesful relight, even if I used the start switch afterwards ! So...don't touch that little black button if you want to keep your engine alive ! :pilotfly:
  24. I agree, the speed at high altitude is one major advantage the Viggen has over the Harrier, so I guess it is worth fixing ! I am fully aware the fixing bugs takes time but it would be nice if HB could acknowledge that the issue is being worked on ;) Otherwise it is a wonderful aircraft, very different from other CAS airplanes :pilotfly:
