Why do you need more than ~400 miles for digital COMBAT simulator?

simmers all around the world.. Americans for example would love to buy Mig-29 or any other 4th gen. Russian Military Interceptor, Attack, multirole or whatever aircraft.

For example, why not Mig-29? American Airforce had Mig-29's, there is nothing secret about them.

There is only Mig-21 and Mig-15 and nothing else. I would like to play Mig-29, Su-30 ... and especially Mig-31 FC3 modules are really basic... Anyone else wish for more premium Russian jets here? :cry::cry:

In those two times gears exploded I started without holding brakes (i.e. charging power) so gears were present longer on airfield during take off... maybe heat killed them. Now I start with (W) to full power then release (W) and they don't explode. Nothing in manual about that... just saying...

I am carrying 4 IFR missles without fuel tank yet during takeoffs my gears explode AFTER I take off (second or so) Why is that so? Am I too heavy? I was checking manual etc.. but nothing specific?

I hope they give us offline mode before WW3 xD

How do I enjoy DCS? By mastering skills on Mig-21 and Mig-15 ATM Lookig forward to F18 and other premium modules. Sheer complexity of premium modules is what keeps me playing. If it was up to FC3 I wouldn't be playing by now.

I have saved my first МиГ-21 replay and when i start it my plane just crash on Airfield :( is that normal for dlc planes?

I am playing DCS with 760 GTX, 8 GB Ram... Medium Details, Water HIGH :) I can solo fly plus with few allies and few enemies, that's enough for now. I am on 2.5 Open Beta Enjoying MIG21 <3

Some companies create content to earn fast $$$$ Flight Sim companies usually do it out of their personal love for Flight and then Money. Combat Flight with Jets is something 99% of us won't ever experience IRL ... so we need to create a descent simulation like DCS. I used to play LOMAC in early times, and now with 2.5 it's amazing how far this game has progressed. I am new to DCS and I feel the same as OP.

Hello everyone :) I am new DCS 2.5 player, I've started playing and I am still onto basics with Su-25 I have question about Chute.. sometimes it opens properly and sometimes not (during landings) When it does open properly ... I can easily stop the plane... but when it just drops out .. I have to wobble and finally stop the plane with W. Why does my chute sometimes fail to open? I do approach the airfield 260-290... is there any specific speed when I should open the chute? Also regarding the RETURN mode in HUD (which I use to align with Airfield) does it plot automatically only nearest Airfield or I can enter any runway/airfield I want... how does that work actually :doh: I haven't started learning weaponry YET... nor I wont before I fully master take off, landings, etc.. Thank you all
