I have a question regarding FPS For example, when I fly with about 10 other units my FPS is 60+ all terrains on HIGH preset @ 1080p HOWEVER When I add more than that, it starts going down? Is it my POOR 3.3 GHZ I5 CPU? I think it is... cause when I remove MSAA 2x (nothing happens) What should I do to stabilize FPS with more AI and friendly units? GET A NEW CPU? What is temporary solution?

I had an airbase 2 km from my home filled with Mig-21 and 29 therefore those two are my favorite, can't wait for Mig 29 PFM... :)

I've upgraded my SSD and GPU yesterday and re-downloaded OpenBeta ONLY. Play on OpenBeta.. that's it.

New Gen. of NVIDIA cards are coming out soon. 1080 will drop in price a lot in just a 2-3 months I believe. :)

DCS is simulator not 100% Arcade Video Game. People should adopt, learn not simplify their DCS experience.

Your CPU is weak for 1080, it will bottleneck a bit (even if 2700k is still descend CPU) You need 16 GB RAM minimum (for DCS) and 1080 GPU as well. SSD is also must have (for DCS) and 1080 GPU

I have i5 3,4 Ghz, 12 GB RAM, SSD, and just bought ASUS EXPEDITION GTX 1060 OC I play on 1920x1080 Can I play on medium - high? What settings you guys suggest? I am asking since 1060 is quite popular so probably many of you have tested DCS settings with it?

Mig 29 is my favorite, I am happy it's getting PFM upgrade. MIG 29 deserves FULL simulation at some point.

If you have 2 GB 770 GTX like I do... with that configuration do not expect multiplayer (until you upgrade RAM to 16 GB) Push MEDIUM, turn Water to HIGH and that's it. It's not super pretty put it's acceptable and FPS is 60

I play with 12 GB.. It never goes beyond 10 GB RAM, even online with 30 players. But I must admit that I play on Medium details, so larger textures might require MORE Ram. So I would say 16 GB is Fine, but if anyone can afford 32 GB then why not... but there won't be any difference.

TIP for MIG 21 A lot of people die in Mig 21 landings because they don't leave their joystick after touchdown, due high speed for landing any additional control with stick will cause the Mig roll a bit on left or right side that will cause breaking of gears. If you are going 350 and you touchdown, leave your stick immediately and don't play with throttle few seconds before landing :D or you will Roll xD and again loose your gears. I have created A MISSION just for Mig 21 landings, and I practice them every now and then. It's ridiculous cause I never had any problems WITH ANY OTHER PLANE, my landing success rate with other planes is 100%, but Mig 21 is insane rocket!

I have i5 3rd gen. 3.1 turbo 3.4 GHz, 12 GB DDR3 RAM and 760 GTX WindForce 3 2 GB GPU? I am running everything fine on Medium details, heavy missions take 10 GB RAM so I presume I am fine with 12 ATM. If I buy Nvidia 1070 8 GB .. will I be able to run HIGH with good FPS? Does my PC has descent CPU and RAM to handle 1070 GPU without any bottleneck? Thank you in advance.:helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

Mig 21 - Unsafe Rocket, fun gen 3 Aircraft that is easy to learn but hard to master. It's very different from what you expect from let's say gen 4 jets. Crazy delta wings, fast approach, with delta wings it's hard to control when airborne in short this plane is INSANE, but that's why it's very fun to play. If you like weird things this plane is for you. Mig 15 - Awesome little plane, really enjoyable, complete opposite of Mig-21 as far as maneuvering is concerned. A lot of ammunition to burn down many sabres. Very Well made module I got it for 25 euros on Steam sale and I think it's worth 2x as much. I've seen other Mig-15's on other simulators (even premium ones) but DCS one is THE BEST Flaming Cliffs 3 - I don't like flying basic aircraft but this is must have if you love Russian Jets, also there are some good campaigns included.

well ED just needs to confirm that so we don't have to ask about Russian planes.

Sorry but I have no knowledge about IR lights etc... Is it healthy to be exposed to IR light 4-5 hours a day? :)
