  1. I've encountered this in the first and second mission too. Unfortunately this makes the missions almost unplayable.

  3. Since I run the openbeta, I modified the path in line 7 of camp_init.lua as specified previously. However, when I use FirstMission.bat to re-generate a first mission, I get the following error (in CMD): The system cannot find the path specified. C:\Users\XXX\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\tech\DCE\Missions\Campaigns\FA-18C Battle Group Delta> I verified my path and it is identical, yet it cannot find it. Any clue as to why? Thanks in advance for the campaign !
  4. Super interesting idea and very fun! Added the C-101 to the blue side so I can use the Culopollo for some strikes. I was wondering, where is the infantry pickup zone? Could not find it for the life of me.
  5. The aspect at which you can fire a missile is missile-dependant and not aircraft dependant. If you can fit an R-60M (all aspect IR missile) on an L-39, that L-39 can achieve a head-to-head missile kill. I agree with OP that the -9M and Magic II being rear aspect only on the C-101CC is a bug (or a mistake? I've observed it too). The real missiles are all aspect, and the airframe on which they are mounted does not affect it.
  6. Just purchased the C-101, after years of putting it off because of its rocky development... I have to say it's probably one of my favorite aircraft in the sim! I'm so glad it turned out the way it did, and I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Aviodev team, from one Spaniard (far away from Spain) to another. Now the point of my post: would it be possible to provide depression tables to employ the more "exotic" C-101CC weapons? I'm referring to the BIN-200, Belouga, BL750, BR500 and 250 bombs... They look like interesting weapons but the lack of documentation on them makes it hard to use them effectively. Any plans to include that data in a future release of the manual? Thanks again!
  7. Is there any way to edit aircraft liveries or change available aircraft or loadouts like before? I looked around in the files but nothing obvious stood out. Outstanding work by the way, I'm really enjoying it so far.
  8. Hi Artiom! Thanks for trying it. There's definitely a bug in my campaign, and it seems that only CAP missions are available for now. I'll fix it when my life gets a little less busy and release a V.2 with more missions. If you like the concept, I can totally recommend any other DCE campaign, they work perfectly. This is my first try at making one, so you can see that there's a few imperfections... :D
  9. I do believe weather has been tweaked, but I'm not the one responsible for it. PB0_CEF would probably know better than me. I have the feeling my campaign is bugged, since I haven't been able to trigger missions that aren't CAP. Once my life is less hectic I'll try and figure out if I'm right or not, and release a V.2 with fixes if necessary. I'll try to implement intercepts too.
  10. I'm glad you're enjoying it! To change the liveries, you have to edit the following: Init/oob_air_init.lua Line 189 (use Notepad++ to find this easily) you'll see the livery name. Change that to the livery you want! To use the correct name, go to your \DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F14\Liveries\f-14b folder and use the livery folder name. I was also wondering, since you're playing, what kind of missions have you played? Any strikes or ground attack? Anything other than a combat air patrol?

  12. I played four different missions with no issues. There have been reports of CTD introduced with the Tomcat in the last update though, as per Cobra.
  13. Back from my first try... After modifying all the required .lua files, I launched FirstMission.bat, but nothing happened. The cmd window opens and immediately closes without letting me input a number of players. The window is also empty. Any clues on possible problems?
  14. Currently in the process of adapting the Hornet over PG campaign for the Tomcat. It's my first time but I think I have the information needed to make it work! :thumbup: I'll share it here when it's semi-functional!

  17. So I tried the first mission of F-14 over Caucasus... Good news is, the scripting bug seems to be fixed. I got a new mission generated and mission results at the end (didn't get that before). For the campaign itself: -Please consider reducing the number of ships around the carrier battle group. IRL you wouldn't see so many ships right next to the carrier (only for photo ops!) and they shatter the framerate. A couple of DDGs would be enough. -Wind felt abnormally high during the first mission. Might just be me. -Two Tomcats spawned too close to each other and blew up. As a QOL update: Please consider adding the option for stored heading alignment in the Tomcat options of the ME. It would shorten startup time immensely and would not really detract from the rest of the mission. I'll continue in the next few days as I learn the bird and keep you updated.
  18. I thought the discussion was related to the Tomcat campaign, but you'd like to know if any DCE campaign works? If you were able to complete your Tomcat campaign I can kill two birds with one stone and test both :thumbup:

  23. Not yet, but ED is planning on doing a "paid" carrier module with people running around the deck, the possibility to go below deck, and also apparently a ready room and stuff. Not much has been said officially as of yet, so treat what I'm saying with a grain of salt.

  25. You have to modify your FA-18C.lua file to enable them. They're buggy, but they work! I managed to destroy a couple of IR SAM sites with them.
