  1. yep it's the same old problem, i have same issue on rotaries, i did find that it was not so bad once i unplugged the lead connecting the throttle and stick when i was using my MS ffb2 stick in BS, but i have a real bad issue with the thumb rotary moving in a gradual decent at times that it is impossible to use it on trim or any other setting. Next stick and throttle will be of better make for me i think.
  2. Checked RPM gauges and both constant in same position.. decided to uninstall all mods as well, but still there.. very strange... maybe it's me then... will get a screen shot next time.
  3. No GG, i thought it might be that, so i set wind to 0 and still does it.. i thought it might be my rudder pedals, but i have a deadzone set of 20 because they are old gameport ones and a bit lose centered.
  4. Ok guys. I have a bit of a problem with the pitch ladder on the hud of the A10-A, i have search the forums and cant find any solution, so sorry if this has been mentioned before. Ok here goes. Problem i have is the pitch ladder keeps wandering off center horizontally left and right, i am trimmed fine as far as i can see, it is just driving me nuts. Example is i am on the runway holding for takeoff.. start rolling plane stays straight minor input on pedals to stay that way.. hud is in center of screen. Then as i pull back on stick and rotate, the pitch ladder shifts to left or right once airbourne. I have no idea what is going on, it don't do it on other aircraft as far as i can tell and is making bombing runs virtually impossible. Any help would be appreciated... i am a bit of a noob when it comes to modern combat sims, prefer IL2 etc, but i opted to get BS when it first came out and now this. Great fun so far, but need to solve this issue. Scif.

  6. As vapour has mentioned above.. i get the exact same issue has him.. would not mind getting back into this again, but with the stick doing this it is impossible to fly.

  8. I just use D3D Overrider to force Vsync on in vista, it's part of the rivatuner install package.
  9. i dunno whats going on but my comodo anti virus is now alerting me to a backdoor.win32.bitfrose virus. within the exe of the affinity tool, but my search and destroy picks up nothing. anyone got any idea or same issue?
  10. Interesting read, i have had screen tearing since day one and had given up trying to force v-sync. Looks like i might have to install XP and dual boot and see what happens.

  12. i was trying this last night with a few friends, i was lasing the targets and they were firing 12 to 15km back, im not 100% sure how it works, but they were getting target notify on their huds and so launched, i picked up the guidance i think on my hud once itwas over head or close to me. Killed a few things, but its not great for precision hits and patriots and rolands shoot them down easily :)
  13. i have a x52, chpro pedals and a M$ ffb2 on standby, but i have the same issue mentioned in the thread with the rotaries and slider on the throttle, constant movement which causes issue's when using slider as cockpit zoom, rotaries are ok sort of, if i setup bands, but its not ideal. Next setup will be something else i think.

I did hear it mentioned that the M1A1 is the only tank in BS that takes 2 Vikhr's to kill.. not sure how he came to that conclusion, Leopard, Challenger2 and T80's that i have come across also take 2. You might get a one shot kill sometimes, from behind and to the side, but most of the time any main battle tank takes 2 hits from what i have seen.
  15. Bump I dont like to bump threads, but has anyone solved this problem or has this problem. I setup 3 missions exactly the same but with different external settings as described in the thread, but for the love of god i can not get enemy externals hidden. I can lock to cockpit, but theres something fishy with the mission editor and the so called external options. Would love to have a solution to this problem to make mp missions more in depth, but as of now it's impossible to have externals on without enemy showing up.

I have the same problem when creating missions with Farps, i spend like an hour or more just trying to get placement of everything in the right place... ie fuel and ammo dumps, refueling ,power and supply trucks... constantly running the game to make sure i can refuel, re-arm etc. Surely there is an easier way to do this? cant even make templates with static objects which would make it a whole lot easier once u have placement sorted out.

With these flag states etc, would it be possible to trigger a said group to re spawn once dead to add more reinforcements instead of putting in endless unit groups, way points, triggers etc etc? and if so ii could do with some pointers, im getting to grips with the ME, but far from where i want to be.
  19. hmm maybe the terrain thing then, but it is a bit strange that there is a road that goes right the way through the valley. If i keep one convoy on the road it just stops at the same place which happens to be on the up slope of a small incline... looks like i will have to maybe trigger them the other side and see what happens.   20. I have been working on a mission lately and all seems ok, its not finished because i have a problem once they are triggered. They trigger fine and follow the first 2 waypoints, but as soon as they have passed them, they hold position and dont move.. i have 3 colomns and they all stop at exactly the same spot on the map in parallel lines. What they should do is activate, follow the road out of a village. then spread out off road and into cone or rank, but they do not, they just sit there doing nothing. I am sure it's a minor issue which i have missed somewhere in the ME PDF, but cant find it. Any help would be appreciated. Scif.
  21. I ended up doing a clean install and that has resolved the problem... painful i know, but had to be done so i could fly tonight. Only thing that i had changed today was some mod, so i am now leaving mods alone for the mean time.
  22. Which leads me to instantly blowing up when firing any sort of ordinance. No idea whats going on, i have been mission editing all day, and no matter what mission i load i have no weapons showing up even though they are loaded. Need a fix if possible before i do a clean reinstall. As a side note this happens in all missions be it SP or MP, i have not edited any files in anyway to my knowledge.
  23. ahh that maybe the wrong way, but i find it a lot more stable after doing it, trim doesnt always work the way it's intended i feel at times. Plus another thing i tend to do now is not use auto hover, trimming to a near stop makes good practice without the Auto Hover ;)
  24. The way i overcome this is once in auto hover and stable, if i want to turn to another heading i disable heading hold AP, move to the new heading, trim and then enable heading hold AP, in some cases dont have to trim if u keep it smooth.
  25. at this moment in time there is no dedicated software, only way to host is via the multiplayer game launch and setup as a server, make sure u have ports 10308 open though.
