Merci Guillaume
  4. bonjour quelqu'un maitrise t il DCS bios et pourrait il m 'aider ? Guillaume
  5. Andrew, i'm still fighting to install DCS BIOS , now that i understand more my arduino but i've problem running "con " socat is'nt nect serial port " i enter the com port number and then it writes " socat is not recognize as an executable EXE , or a an internal command or external " ? Can you help me ?
  6. i used joytokey , it works perfectly for me . what is your problem with it ?
  7. Same here we got the same problem : RIO canno't send chaff or flares.
  8. You need to use Potentiometer instead of rotary switch , but for that you also need the keybinding to have axes designated for this . I.E on F18 we have the volume controle axes available , i connect a potentiometer ( via a leobonard card) and i can control the volume .... but on F14 for the moment this axes is not implemented
  9. Thanks a lot andrew , i think i will order an arduino starter kit to test all this. thanks a lot for your help Guillaume
  10. thanks andrew ... but i don't understand which version i should take , yours or hansolo link ? another question , i try to understand , i just need ot copy those folder in the directory given on the tutorial , nothing to install ? just arduino sofware correct ?
  11. Hi HANS thanks for the link and the explanation , since i now use 5 leo cards , ( and i'm very happy iwth them ) do you think i can now mix them with an arduino for LCD , leds display in my simpit ? thanks again i wil study all this regards guillaume
  12. Thanks a lot for your answer , can explain me what is DCS BIOS , i read about here every where , but cannot really understand what is it ? I 'm already using IKARUS, but no F14 profile for the moment Guillaume
  13. Hi guys i've build my pit but for the moment i use leobodnard card to connect switches , i'm very happy with that.PERfect i'm able to have 'inputs" But now i would like to do the opposite , do recover "a signal" in order to light on a led ( I.E the green gear lights ) Did someone can brief me very fast ? i mean explain me the generic , basic schematic . where to takes the signal , which type of card i can use to convert this "signal " to a led ? I 'm not familiar with arduino , is there another type of card to do that ? more "plug and play" like leobodnard cards ? just to explain what i'm able to do : i 'm able to go in controls files and create my own switch modifying LUA , but i've no knowledge in arduino . my english is not perfect , i hope you understand what i ask ? Regards Guillaume
  14. you are right , i'm rusted , the POS FIX is to calibrate the NADIR after it "drift"
  15. Harlikwin , as i understand you want to make your present position a waypoint. If i remember well follow that on your nadir : POS FIX DES 1 ( if you want to set it as waypoint 1 , or another number ) ENTER i hope my memory is good i still have my QRH home , i will check if it doesn't works , tell me if it works
  16. to tell you the true i've never get that information, but it sounds correct
  17. We received the first aircraft at the end of the 90's , if i remember well , the 3rd ALAT regiment perform the experimentation in 1998-1999 , and we really start to have it operationnal in 2000. At this time we have a version with a TV screen ( sorry for my lack of vocabulary) . this one have a good definition , almost the same as we have in the head in display ( the periscope ) . Then around 2004 we were equiped with numeric screen system to display also moving map system called EURONAV ... and there the deifinition was ... very poor .... it was a step back in term of definition. Personaly i prefer to use the HEAD IN periscope when i need a good definition ( it alos defend of my pilot skill , because once head in i can't monitor him anymore ) Conclusion : i can tell you that the VIVIANE display we have on DCS is really close to he real one . that 's surprised me when i discovered it.
  18. I flew 2000 flight hours on the real aircraft as an a french army gazelle pilot , and ... i really don t like/recognize the FM ,the feelings on controls, stability , power ....are far far far away from the real one. i would be glad to help to build a better FM for this incredible aircraft. actually mine is at the end of my hangar ... the left seat and the viviane systeme is really close to the real one ( wonderfull) . really i find very close to what we were doing with VIVIANE , even the picture of this flir is ... really really well done. the controls of the HOT missile is almost perfect . much better than the DX147 we used for training in the army !!!
  19. anyone can use it for any reason , but for the moment you only check your helmet as it is set ....
  20. Do you think it could be possible to have adjstable mirror , from front seat the upper mirror if adjustable could be very usefull . I mean if we can move it upward a little bit we would be able to really look behind . For the moment i feel like we see the pilot helmet much more than the 6 o clock sector ..
