No scoff, it's a legitimate question. Yes, it is the only sign with that wording in Las Vegas. There is a similar one in Downtown that says Welcome to Downtown Las Vegas.

Same here. Had plenty of stiction. Removed what little original lube there was, and there wasn't very much at all. Lubed with M-kote EM-30L. What a difference. Smooth as butter. Added a 5" extension and it is smooth as glass. I bought one of the o-rings but have not needed it yet. Saving it just in case.

Promotions and medals mean very little in this sim. If you score enough points regardless of what else you do you will get promoted and possibly a medal. What I do to prevent my wingie from crashing into me on landing is, as we approach the airport (maybe 5 miles or so.) I give him the "Anchor here" command. Then I proceed to land and then give him the "Return to base" command

Try what? If you buy something at your local Wally World and it goes on sale in 30 days or so, you can get the sales price, or return the item and buy it at the sales price. Unfortunately online software sales are final.

Are you serious? Who forced you to buy anything. Apparently you didn't learn when UH-1 went on sale shortly after release. Did someone hold a gun to your head and make you push the buy button. Man up and accept responsibility for your own actions. If you didn't want to wait for a sale that's your choice, no one forced you to do anything.

I too paid full price for everything except Combined Arms. Since it has not been a priority to buy FC3 or Mi-8, I could wait for a sale.

As I said, no one twisted anyone's arm to buy anything. If someone is too impatient to wait for the inevitable sale then there shouldn't be any complaining. I waited and I'll feel much better paying $40.00 for 2 modules instead of $100.00

Nobody twisted anyone's arm to buy anything. I'm was not interested in the Mi-8 for $49.99 but for $19.99 I'll get it. Same goes for FC3

I thought 32 bit operating systems weren't supported anymore, but I may be wrong. EDIT: After looking at the system requirements for DCS:World, Minimum requirements don't specify 32 or 64 bit. Reccomended requirements say 64bit. So now I don't know.

I can understand some people being frustrated at the fact they bought software today for full price only to have it go on sale a week later at deep discounts. In most places If you bought a TV or stereo or a lot of other products, if it goes on sale within a set time you can go back and get the discount or return it and buy it again at the reduced price. Unfortunately that does not happen with software that I'm aware of. So, you can buy today at full prce or wait for a sale, the choice is yours alone to make. Personally, I'm not interested in the Mi-8, but I might buy it when it goes on a deep discount sale. Same with FC3.

:doh: Nevermind. Just learned FC3 is not on Steam.

Can't say I've noticed any change in FPS since the patch. I've flown a couple of missions that I have on my SSD's and haven't noticed any reductions.
