After a whole page of theory I still can not figure what is the bottom line. In B4 I was getting the bearing to the tanker. Can someone from ED Team (only) confirm what shall we expect from the A-A TACAN with two simple words: Bearing, Distance or Both. Thanks.

@DropBear - If you want a silky smooth performance with TGP operating in a congested environment I would suggest you start thinking about a new GPU. A few threads mentioned the high importance of the graphics card for DCS A10 (which was not the case in Black Shark). @Vega - Yes. I was having already smooth experience with B4 after I changed my old GTX280. Yet, in certain situations the FPS were dropping from 50-60 to 20-25. Now I have 60 allround (i have V-Sync enabled) and even with the TGP running the FPS keep up. Great job ED.

You should go ahead and install the Final Version. It has a very long list of improvement as well as increase in the preformance. You might find several threads where some people are whining about something. Just disregard and do the install. Yes, there are a few bugs which are traced and will be fixed at some point.

Conspiracy theory: ED does not publish any information just to keep people busy and amused by this own thread ongoing like forever. This way the developers buy time while the heat keeps things boiling in the chit-chat section and the time goes by day after day. I am joking of course. Latest news reveal: In order to keep the workflow uninterrupted Wags has ordered all ED internal testers and programmers to install WC-MK9000 near their workstations.

I commented about that in another post but hey, won't hurt to do it again: I own FSX.... it costs itself 50 USD... I own [i don't want to count how much] add ons for [i don't want to count what ammount]. This puts me in the dedicated flight simmer group. Now, I would pay (reasonable amounts) for DCS add ons provided they are of the same quality: new maps, new campaigns, new aircraft modules. BUT, I don't think that I have to pay extra for updates for already purchased product. Example - FSX and "Ariane Design": I have the 737, not a bad product but very bad fiscal policy from the developers. Every time they update something together with fixing of the previous version bugs they ask for more money (read the full price of the product) :pain: well, I flushed A.Design down the drain together with their creation. I don't feel like paying for a multiplayer subscription too. Someone above said "I feel itchy" about it. Well I do too. So, how ED will survive: increase the end product price. My customer opinion is product of the A-10 calibre should cost approx. 90-100USD.

Well, to be specific, I said that it just "reminds me" but yes, basically you are right. Here we have more democracy than @ avsim. And I appreciate that big time. I just hate the stage of the anxious waithing for something to be published. If Wags did not publish this long list of changes I would not bother too much about the B6 at this point and just shut up and fly the B4. But now I just can't....

Honestly I don't know what to expect. The situation kinda reminds me of the PMDG forum where people expect any news about the new 737-NGX. Everyone is anxious but the ones who are too much anxious are being digitally neck slapped and now the people just murmur about the weather or what real life pilots do on the long haul flights or.. bla-bla...really pathethic...

Just on top of my head - perhaps you need to include the new WP in a flight plan. What I do - second flight plan which holds all new waypoints of interest. Depending of my needs I switch between the new and old one. You can also add the new WP to the old FP. Then it should appear on the TAD.

Can't agree more! I have my B4 A-10 is now on chocks until the new A-10C Mk5 arrives.
