I had to enable the video export while playing then replay and crop the recording in obs.

Apologies if this isn’t permitted. I was curious w the advent of the new dcs dedicated server which works wonderfully, if anyone has identified any reasonable priced server providers online who allow for the hosting of 1-2 servers and srs. Thanks in advance folks!

Messing around with the LANTIRN and it’s video export function. I noticed if I turn video export on while in the seat it’ll show during replay however I can’t activate the keybind in replay. Is there a way to enable it? Video from tonight’s buddy lasing and self lasing practice.

Not sure if a bug but at night w NVGs on the laser from the lantirn is not visible.

Does the lantirn pod have the ability to search and spot other lasers if turned to the correct code? If so is anything special needed to be done? Thanks.

Hey guys, looking for tips on lantirn export. I turned on export via keybind and I get the export video overlayed on my game screen. Can I move the video to a second monitor and record it separately in obs or do I need to replay track and record then? Thanks!

Please ED, add selectable parking spots along the outer edges of the carrier deck so we can spawn in more than 7 aircraft or eliminate the overall limit of aircraft which can be on the deck at a time. We have squad nights where aircraft taxi off the known spawn points into the landing area or other spots and yet we’re still limited to the amount of AC which can be present at a time. Also please add deck flood lights for night ops. Thank you. ????

This is helpful in directing yourself and the seeker to the target. Once you wpdsg, the seeker will lock to that wp at which point you can undes and scan for targets. You’ll be able to do something very similar w the flir but at a greater distance.

Try sequencing your waypoints, setting the tgt waypoint as your intended wp and flying to the ip by using the HSI.

I'm trying to understand how the data link classifies track files as either unknown vs ambiguous. Is it based off anything in particular such as the aircraft type? Additionally, is there currently a way for a division of AC to program their DL so that they appear on the SA page as a division if it's not setup beforehand in the mission editor? Sort of like setting the group ID in the A10. Lastly is there a resource which outlines the gamut of HAFU symbology? Im compiling my own guide and was hoping to compare it against a resource which outlines it.

NCTR is a means to identify aircraft by using your own aircraft radar hence why close to a head on aspect is needed to get a good view of the fan blades. If no C2 aircraft are available and you have a bogey inbound hot, NCTR gives you just another tool to ID that contact. My .02
