  1. I was finally able to fly a portion of the SW map a short time ago, all of it below 1000 ft. Some of it on the deck. While there are issues, I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw for an early release. Looking forward to jumping into other areas of the map as time allows.
  2. I feel your pain. But you might want to read this, if you haven’t seen it already:
  3. Glad you got it sorted out. Enjoy!
  4. In this other thread that you posted in, have you seen BIGNEWY’s responses? and… At a minimum, before you try anything, rename your mods folder in Saved Games so that none of those mods load. Once the problem is solved, then you can go back to it.
  5. I suspect that’s an overly optimist view.
  6. You might want to do a cleanup and slow repair. Either that or remove and reinstall FC3. The latter has worked for some people.
  7. If you use the Mission Editor to place an F-15C on the map, can you set it to “Player” or is only “Client” available in the “Skill” menu?
  8. That’s the way it is now. The aircraft are listed individually according to all reports. I’m still downloading the update. So can’t speak from personal experience.
  9. And that is what DCS excels at, military cockpit simulation tied to a very good flight model. The rest of the simulation, not so much.
  10. That’s the key command to “silence warnings” or however it’s phrased available in some FC3 pits. Was wondering if maybe it would work for that, even though it’s not a warning in your case.
  11. I stand corrected, then. Guess they’ll get around to it, once all other bugs are corrected…
  12. IIRC, the problem is that the Su-25 max files have been lost. Fixing this would require recreating the entire external model. That’s not going to happen, not with this version of the aircraft, anyway.
  13. Unfortunately there’s no such “switch” available. It would provide the best of both worlds.
  14. I don’t imagine “RShift+N” does anything, does it?
  15. No, that’s what I was referring to. It was just a thought. Hopefully, it wasn’t something that required a knob turn in the FF model and was overlooked in the FC simplification process.
  16. You might want to check for something under the aircraft in “Controls”.
  17. Very cool. Patiently waiting for my download to finish. Just a few more days to go.
  18. Good to know. I’m still days away from having the new update installed and being able to install FC4.
  19. If you purchased and installed FC4, wouldn’t FC3 now be defunct? Or is it that FC4 shows up as FC3 with the 3 new aircraft?
  20. If you buy, FC4, it comes with the 3 additional aircraft. If you buy those aircraft individually, you have NOT purchased, FC4. Is that, perhaps part of the issue? I’m still days away from having this update installed. So I’m just basing my question on what’s actually for sale.
  21. If you own the Supercarrier, it came with that.
  22. If we're talking specifically about the RDM in the real world, while the ranges are similar, I believe the RMD range is based on a 5m² RCS, while the N001's is based on 3m². So not quite the same thing.
  23. Ahhh…you mean I had nothing to fear? I never opened the file in the ME to see how it was set up. Anytime you’re having difficulty, just ask.
  24. Yes, the increment is in 2km units.
  25. This was something I was working on years ago. I had uploaded it to YT to see what the start looked like. But life overtook me and I never finished it. There are no arrows pointing to what I’m referring to but you’ll know where to look. It might be somewhat helpful.
