  1. @DetroiTechno I have the same problems that you describe. My throttle remains connected to the same usb port, its pid and vid are unchanged and yet DCS applied some sort of default button mapping and overwrote the bindings I had created making lots of bindings I did not add, and at least some that I added got reused/reallocated elsewhere in the profile. I have not found any solution. Response to support ticket was not helpful.
  2. @jetkid Can I ask what did you end up doing? Did you have to do your controls re-binding again from zero? Do you use Joystick Gremlin or any such 3rd party software to try to solve the DCS loss of controller binding issue? I ask because I am having troubles with DCS overwriting my configured bindings. I dont want to have to just keep re-doing them from zero.
  3. @tuffysdad I would be interested to know if your problems with HOTAS bindings have remained solved following your last post. I have been experiencing binding problems. It seems that DCS applied some sort of default button mapping and overwrote the bindings I had created. DCS responded to my ticket question by saying that "go to your input folder and delete it, when you start DCS and go to your controls it will have created fresh profiles ready for personalisation" - this is hardly a good solution for me - I do not intend to spend days re-creating bindings for each aircraft and every time DCS overwrites what I am doing. If you have found your bindings dont get corrupted any more I would love to know the secret.
  4. @imacken My goodness that is so comprehensive. Excellent that you took the time to post that information here. Sorry I did not see it on the Virpil forum. That @dburne reckons the information so good is like a star of approval ! I really appreciate your posting, I was starting to fear that I was not going to succeed in getting the best from the CM3.... now I look forward to applying your technique this morning... I will grab a coffee and get on with it. Thank you again. Update: Well, success ! As an aside, I must repeat what has been said elsewhere in response to various posts of yours - I just don't know how you manage to figure that all out - but damn I am glad you did and that you are happy to share that in your posts. Thanks again. I do hope that the Virpil folk get their documentation updated to match the software. Its a trap for new users when doco and YT vids address old versions - something, for me at least, to watch out for.
  5. Using latest version 20220304. Is it possible to set the virtual detent high setting to greater than 20000 (this is the maximum that the field will accept). It needs to be about 48000 which equates to 80% throttle.
  6. Seriously excellent work... such a credit to you. Thank you.
  7. Just wanted to say thank you for the Spitfire manual. What great body of work. For me, it makes using DCS possible. You should put up something so folk and contribute to your efforts - if only to show their appreciation. Thanks again.
