Have you tried other keys yet? I use Keypad 5, 8 and 9 myself. And did you check the TIR setting?

Seems pretty clear that your order did not go through when you timed out. If it did you would see the information of your purchase instantly. Everyone can download the betas, but you can only play it if you bought it.

Oh and the arrow keys are in fact used by the sim, so you have to clear out those entries, actually, I believe that's your culprit right there, not the TIR settings. edit: Sorry for the doublepost, I actually wanted to edit my previous post, but clicked the wrong button

How is your TIR software set up? Have you ticked all the checkboxes, "Trap" is the one responsible in your case, I think.

I'm guessing the lighting is primarily there to be used with NVGs, not the naked eye.

I'd check the OpenGLoptions in your graphics card driver setup. You probably have your texture preferences set to low there.

@Duke49th: das passt schon so, es geht hier net um die A-10C beta. Zum rest: bin auch der meinung, das da eventuell ein defekter download vorliegt.

Eine nette option seitens ED wäre es mmn, besitzern einer lokaliserten version auch den download der englischen version zu ermöglichen.

Ich bin mir sogar ziemlich sicher, daß es eine deutsche lokalisierung geben wird, allerdings ist meiner meinung nach die beta nur für die englische download version gültig. Zur performance lässt sich im moment noch nicht wirklich etwas sagen, mit der 460 solltest du aber keine probleme haben. Allerdings würde ich an deiner stelle schauen, wie weit sich deine CPU übertakten läßt - 2,33 GHz könnte schon ein wenig knapp werden.

From your picture it seems like you have more than just the Cougar connected, the axes setup showing in the first pic is for a Logitech G13, you'll have to scroll to the right (srollbar at the bottom) to see your Cougar is my guess.

MLAA is primarily meant to be used in games that don't support AA, either by themselves or by forcing it in the driver. GTA IV is an example of such a game.

Bei einem 32 bit betriebssystem wird nur die 32 bit *.exe installiert, erneute installation ist vollkommen unnötig. Hast du die sim ins vorgeschlagene verzeichnis installiert? Könnte sein, daß dir UAC in die quere kommt - schon mal versucht die sim als admin zu starten, bzw. UAC abzuschalten?

Hmm, same problem as with the 20/10 RC on my W7/64, the script editor works but the GUI immediately crashes. Oh well, until I can afford the TM Warthog and have decided that I really want to replace my FSSB R1 Cougar those problems will probably have been ironed out. Would have been nice to fiddle around with it, though.

Is the "Full Screen" option in the system settings checked? Is the resolution set to the native resolution of your screen? Have you tried hitting ALT+Enter?

Lets you use the same pilot even if you died - set it to off and when you die you will have to create a new pilot. Flighttime: 27 minutes - this beta runs pretty terrible on my system, so I really don't want to play it, let alone learn it. Plus, I'm finally getting some more hours into the Black Shark and there's about a ton of other games I play atm.

Maybe the confirmation email was flagged as spam by your email program, have you searched through your spam-folder? If you log in at http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com and click on "Payments" you should see your transaction containing your serial number as well as a link to set you up for the beta forum. Please be aware that this only works if you have the same email address registered for the DCS site and the forum.

Have you tried setting an altitude via the collective brake lever yet? If you leave the collective alone after doing so, the Shark should stay at the set height.

Have you tried updating your TrackIR games list?
