Check your graphics card control panel, it looks to me as if your texture/mipmap preference is set to low. Both of your pictures are a lot more blurry than on my rig (I've also got a 6870)

Does this work? Because I tried both methods about 2 weeks ago (after the merge) when I could no longer log on to the DCS site and to this day I have not received an answer. Not that it matters anymore, I later found out that my login details from the LOCKON site were the ones that "survived" the merge, so I'm good - but still...

Or just hit "ALT + PrtScrn" to take a screenshot of the active window, then paste into your favourite picture editing program.

I'm pretty sure that it is not possible to run W7 in a virtual environment on XP. It works the other way around, but even then you have no 3D acceleration on your virtual XP = not meant for gaming. Why would you even do that, I wonder? When I installed W7/64 back in April, I set up a dual-boot configuration and to be honest I booted up XP about 5 times since then.

Only if a game has a DX9 mode, it it is DX10/11 only it won't run on XP.

That's not how it works in the Hog, I'm afraid - it is not a on/off speedbreak like in some other aircraft. Better get used to it, after a few hours it's no big deal at all.

Pretty normal behaviour for modern GPUs, they all have different clock states so they don't waste energy when idling. So no, your OC of your CPU did not change anything on your GPU.

I have no problems when taxiing or otherwise with my Pro Pedals (plugged into my Cougar). Deadzone = 10, curvature = 15

But you need DX9 for FC2 and it does not come pre-installed on W7.

Full Beta 3, or patched Beta 1/2? The key assignment did not change in the patched version, but if you install the standalone Beta 3 it is now "a".

Also note that Beta 3 changed the key assignment for the autopilot from "1" to "a".

That's the way it is meant to be, nothing wrong with it. You could get a Thrusmaster Warthog HOTAS which features throttles that have to be lifted from the off to the idle position to start the engines.
