  5. anyone else get bad stuttering when EP13 is activated? my frames are still locked at 60 but its noticeably choppy when the maverick sight is online, and this doesn't happen in the f18 or harrier when the MFD displays the image.

  7. nope, i have just been trying for an hour to get these to work, i set up the TGP lase the target, uncage the lmavs and they just fly off in a random direction, the lock seems to be just randomly choosing a spot on the horizon, ive tried reinstalling the harrier module, no joy.
  8. i do what the RN is doing with the f35, a rolling near vertical landing, always dump fuel to around 1000lbs though, this gives you enough margin for error, or you just do a hail Mary rolling landing on the Stennis at virtual stall speed so you just touch down at the very back, jam you brakes on, full forward thrust nozzles and full rpm, should provide enough braking force to stop you by the end, its not pretty but it works.

  10. 3440x1440, at 100hz with gysnc on (100hz is my monitor refresh as its an ultrawide)

  13. sorry, i mis spoke, i do indeed leave my monitor at 100hz, and lock the fps at 60 using rivatuner,
  14. can confirm, locking refresh to 60fps in riuvatuner makes track ir 5 smooth, if i allow my onitor to run at 100hz (even with gysnc on) its not as smooth and stutters loads, despite being well above 60.

  19. while this is a possibility, sli does not seem to be bottle necked in other games by the 16 pci lanes, so i cant see dcs being massively different, i just think its the build we are running that doesn't benefit from it.
  20. Ive got a 100hz g sync ultra-wide, and i still have to cap DCS at 60 via riva tuner to not get track ir stutter, i think its a game engine thing. gysnc does make 60 seem very smooth though, compared to 60 with gsync off, which i know sounds stupid but i can tell when its on or not
  21. msaa and ssaa are very punishing in terms of frames, even a titan xp and a 8700k at 5ghz cant keep above 60 with both enabled in 3440x1440
  22. you can disable the JPTL system (switch is under the throttle) this is not recommended but will push your rpm to 116%, howver engine temp goes through the roof, only use if your engine is hit by AAA and you need more power to stay airborne.
  23. but if your good with rwr and a little lucky you can hold your own in close combat with some sidewinders
