  1. While I know we'll never see either in my lifetime, I'd love to see these two in DCS World. The Super Étendard, made famous/infamous during the Falklands War for a lot of the Western world, and the Clemenceau, a CATOBAR design carrier, could be a great fit for the upcoming Syria map. With both retired from France and earlier generations of their classes, the possibility of reference material could be more available because I know we ain't seeing a de Gaulle/Rafale combo this millennium.
  2. I have it myself, good read but it made no mention of what I'm asking. Therefore, the question of if FC3 will be removed from DCS World and meshed with MAC. :)
  3. With Modern Air Combat planned as a standalone product with dedicated server, will FC3 be absorbed by it and on the MAC servers only, putting all survey planes together or will it remain available on DCS World servers, away from MAC's deployment, whenever that may be?
  4. I did, decent read. Looks like another avenue to sell maps, and possibly planes down the road and CA on a smaller scale. They are a company and do need a steady, consistent revenue stream, I hope MAC's good one for them. I'm guessing the dedicated server is one of the bigger technical holdups for it's release, since they will have separate communities. (DCS:W/MAC). Ded Servers will be key to any sort of leaderboarding/"points"/whatever.
  5. If it's not going to be part of DCS World, I hope the improved developments like that new Kuznetsov and other assets we've seen screens of still find their way into DCS World.
  6. Great. We can re-create the Normandy landings over and over. :music_whistling:
  7. Hope it gets more development than the one we have now. If you don't like coastline, you're SOL.
  8. I have to second this. After watching that newest video of Jester, hearing whatever that is, sure isn't helmet communications noise, is really annoying.
  9. Capt Zeen mentioned he's using the Multi Panel and gets readouts on it from DCS in a previous post in this thread, so I'm hoping it works, just ordered mine. :)
  10. Rumor was, it was traded to Bethesda for canvas tents to be used as a casino in Fallout 76, but was returned when the tents were found to be nylon. :)
  11. My guess is it will be deployed the same time as MAC/FC4 is and no sooner.
  12. So, it's only one axis? Still, that's better than having to have it as a button for me.
  13. Many thanks. Can't wait for the update now to those too scared to mess with Betas. :)
  14. Thanks, I wasn't for sure but I figured it'll eventually get to the stable release candidates.
  15. Are the wheel brakes programmable as an axis now, since the update?
  16. The new MiG-29 FM is listed in the latest Beta notes, not the stable release version, correct? In the eShop, the separate MiG-29 module requires only 2.5.3, which is the stable release version number. If you buy the MiG, do you get it for the stable release immediately or only when it's updated overall from Beta? Thanks and sorry, really confused as I see people talking about the MiG, yet mine seems to be the same old version as it's always been as I don't mess with the Beta versions, only the stable release ones. It's the reason I got back into DCS, so been looking forward to it's update.
  17. I'm hoping for that very thing, it's what attracted me back to the DCS universe.
  18. Sure does, the Su-25 in FC3 doesn't, though. Probably used as the base for the 25T or vice versa.
  19. Bought and downloading now for me. Maybe a Refresh?
  20. They're available on the site now.
  21. Just curious, being new to DCS World, but wasn't there a helicopter sale announced for today? The one that made me decide to wait to buy the Huey so I could be today's big saver and win 3 more things to crash into the ground as well? :)
  22. I noticed in the FC3 planes, everything with a PFM has wheel brakes on an axis and the MiG-29's, which are still awaiting their PFM updates, are all still keyboard button on/off for brakes, so it may be related to the type of flight models?
  23. I wondered if having axis capable wheel brakes was a sign of more developed flight models as the MiG-29 doesn't have that capability, but the Su-27/33 and F-15 do and they're updated FM's and the MiG's is still in development?
  24. Hello, gents...and ladies, if there are any around. Getting back into the ED world after a long while and have a question before spending money on making something. I've seen plenty of examples of the A-10C and F/A-18C MFD's being exported to small screens, but is it possible to export the Su-27/33 HDD to a small screen as well?
  25. I know it seems like something small, but having wheel brakes available as an axis is much more handy than having them as just a button (W). :)
