  1. Having this one myself, but not all the time. Doesn't do it on any other plane either, just the -16.
  2. If DCS: Supercarrier is a success, maybe they'll think about DCS: Supercarrier II, with an earlier carrier model such as the Kitty Hawk/Enterprise and a F-4J/S package.
  3. In the Carrier Taxi and Takeoff training mission, it's reported the Hornet weighs 46,000 and change I think are the words the instructor says, which is important since you have to set your Stab according to the weight. But when you check the aircraft's actual weight in the DDI it's over 51,000 lbs, which would cause for a different Stab setting than the one you are instructed to use. Tried it three times, all three times the same. Going to look at other missions to see if the aircraft is being reported heavy or not.
  4. ED could be using the base Stennis to test new features, such as the wave off lights. Would make sense and gives the people that aren't planning on buying..*cue dramatic music*..Supercarrier...a better experience as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see more features pop up in the months ahead. :)
  5. Was looking though the Profile list and didn't see the Su-25T listed. Is it not compatible with DCSFP? I did see the DCS included trainer 51 listed, alongside the P-51 but no base Su-25T.
  6. Modern Air Combat News? Any news on the status of Modern Air Combat? Haven't really heard much on it lately. I know there's a lot of irons in the proverbial fire...F-16, Supercarrier, continuing evolvement of the Hornet...so, was wondering if there's any updates in MAC's status on it's progression?
  7. Having two ships of the same name (Stennis) will be confusing. I hope your idea is at least considered by the Powers That Be.
  8. Will be 5 I believe, start of the modular construction, #'s 71-75.
  9. Helljumper, sir...you are a saint. And, thank you Steph for verifying that's what it was. I always move stick and throttle to make sure they have a response and never knew of that little switch that I just now found and started the M2000C's engine for the very first time. Now, I can do the Training lessons and learn how to crash this fine bird with the best of them. :) Edit - Is the Engine Shutdown Button mappable to a key command under some other name because I don't see it in the list?
  10. I'm totally lost then, as I see no mention of that control (shutoff button) in pictures and descriptions of the M20900C in either the manual of Chuck's guide, which uses the manual's pictures. Can this be set to a keyboard command so I can map it to a HOTAS key? Edit - Think I found it, page 26 in the manual, item 35 "Engine Shutdown Button"? Just off the throttle itself?
  11. I've tried this a few times now, after going through both cold start tutorials (Caucasus and Nevada) for the M2000C as well as watching different videos from others on how to cold start, yet I can not get the starter button to depress at all. I've moved myself physically all over the cockpit with TrackIR to make sure I have a clear access to the button, but for the life of me, I can not get it to actuate at all, left or right mouse clicking. I can fly the plane in any other way just fine, but I cannot cold start it at all. I'm stumped as to why, but I have a module I'm unable to use if I can't start it?
  12. I just got NTTR and had to laugh when I came in on approach and looked down. Besides it being flatter than Martinsville, that "pit straight" kills me.
  13. I know all work on this map is done, but that racetrack really is a mess. Instead of being a tri-oval, the tri is the outer pits and the cars "race" down what really is pit lane. Yeah, yeah, I know it's immaterial to a flight sim, but it's a really silly thing that never should have happened. You can tell the modeler never watched a NASCAR race for sure. :megalol:
  14. Currently, I'm unable to add any keyboard commands to all those that are currently blank/nothing assigned, such as the entire Kneeboard section for example. Is there a setting I've got wrong or something? Edit - found the hotfix default.lua file at the front of the forum.
  15. Guess that's not bad for a problem first reported in this thread on Halloween 2017. :music_whistling:
  16. Do they cause an IC failure?
  17. The new default seems to be Left Shift + Space. Once I replaced the Trigger with that, everything's working fine.
  18. Maybe we'll get lucky and they will implement it for MAC if enough of any newer crowd complains and it'll filter down to DCS because I highly doubt they're going to do anything with it otherwise after 4-5 years.
  19. I don't believe there's a RIO helmet mapped in the 3in1 LOD.
  20. Will there be more Training missions made for the newer weapons that have been implemented since the F/A-18's debut?
  21. I know, that poor thing's been there since launching Tomcats in Flanker 2.5 it looks like. :) Couldn't ED just replace it's model with the in-game Stennis, giving mission designers another base feature Nimitz carrier?
  22. Can it be considered "game engine" improvements if it's not going to be available for everything the game engine's running on?
  23. Hadn't seen it stated in this thread, so....from a Wishlist thread. "For the DCS: Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carrier module, we plan to allow you select any of the Roosevelt sub-class ships. Not just the obvious ship name and number, but also each will have unique deck textures." 5 possible ships and the module name. :)
  24. Yes! Great news! :)
  25. At Al Minhad, the signs for ramp F currently are the ones for E in a couple of locations. I've tried to post a picture, but for some reason I can't get it to show up. (hosting from my OneDrive, may be why). When I get that figured out, I'll update the post again. Edit - See if this works... Okay, it REALLY resized the crap out of it, from 5760, but the ones marked with the red stars all read E instead of F.
