I just installed the buttkicker 2, and downloaded ssa --from page 1, I thought is said I needed jetseat installed. Where can I download your latest version, and what all do I need. Thank you for putting the time in, to better the flight experience. The buttkicker works, but there is no difference between regular thrust and afterburner. I did see where I could alter the settings in the jetseat window, but it would not allow me to select buttkicker in the other tab. I will of course be continuing to try to get it to work, any help appreciated.

I used -- Com1 as \ -- to pull up coms menu Com Sec as emergency flood light IFF to put the IF into test mode, so as a quick way to pull up the menu on the HUD Com 2 as the button to put all external lights into NORMAL mode ICCM and IDM as replacements for ALT and CNTRL+HOME for engine starts

Is it possible your loaded heavy, maybe try a practice run without any ordinance. The A10 is much harder to takeoff than most. You could bring up that display that shows what joystick inputs are being felt. Id bet your bindings to throttle are not going all the way to full. Good luck, I hope you get it figured out, the A10C is a fun one to fly and master. Ill log in and look around and see if I can recreate your issue on mine.

Great Gear The BuddyFox A10c UFC is an awesome addition. There really is nothing that could make this more real looking and feeling. I feel that the price was great, considering the high quality of the piece. There are a few buttons that the BuddyFox piece use, that the sim has not even caught up with yet. I have one of the "comms" buttons programmed to F10, and 2 others programmed to replace having to hit "Alt+Home" and "Cntrl + Home" to start engines. Whatever they make next, I will buy. Even if you don't use for A10C, its still a great piece to program to another aircraft. The look and feel of the buttons is unmatched by any joystick. Your computer sees it as another joystick, so it can be programmed to anything. I am ready to order anything that BuddyFox makes.:thumbup:

Ikarus screen size Ikarus is a great program. I have adjusted a few to fit my second monitor. I want to replace my second monitor so i wont need to resize. Am I correct that any 1920 x 1080 screen, will allow the Ikarus to fit without any size adjustments needed? Also interested in opinions on best touchscreen (for Ikarus), around 15 inch size. Appreciate any input, thank you.

Question was not. about combat effectiveness. Im a red blooded American. My granfather spent his life working at McDonnell Douglas. So of course F15, F18 or Harrier right? The Viggen is my choice for most fun. Crappy air to air, but at least I can fire a damn Maverick.....and Anti ship....viscious. Its a pilots plane. The Harrier is a blast also, love utilizing a FOB. If I need one to come save me, send the "Eagles". The E will be a blast when it arrives.

I tried to copy and paste, but that window it pops up in is not letting me do that. I will figure out how and paste it. I love the game though, it is exactly what DCS has been missing. I was able to attack one base before it started giving me the error.... ok Ill go now and try to get it copied.

I have been having fun with it, but now it will not let me do base attack, "attribute none" ERROR.

Id like to change my take off option on carrier to "Take off from runway". Im having issues getting hooked up to cat. ---- I have not found where to edit that. Is there a way to do that.

Could having Python 7 and not having the install for all checked be causing mine to lock up? So far I have not seen any enemy planes. Not sure if its something I am messing up or not.

Update --incase anyone else is as dumb as me----- So while on my 2 week work hitch, I was having DCS withdrawls… so to get a fix, I went and bought a nice new laptop that could at least let me build missions and test them. In the Texas desert, internet is not very fast... so """""" I entered the "offline" mode on the laptop''''''''' this set my account into offline mode. Fix was to log in on laptop and put into "online" mode. I have not totally tested to see if everything works, but it does log in and show my modules now. I found the info by searching "409" in forums..... Panic attack over..... for now. Now to see if my Moose stuff will work.

I was gone for 2 weeks, when I got home I did the latest update. Now when I log into DCS it does not recognize my username. Any ideas on what I can do to get my account recognized, I have been buying modules for several years now, never had this issue. In the "forgot password" help, it recognized my username and let me change my password. I did this after getting this message on my first few tries--- my password had never been changed and I always had it set to auto log in and keep password saved. Failed to get authorization data. Error code is: 409 No saved authorization found. I have tried to change password, uncheck the auto log in and save password, tried re activating modules, shut down computer for a few minutes and restart. The website does recognize my username and password and shows all my paid modules. All modules that no longer require activation code, show that they will not work. Im sure that's due to the issue of it not recognizing me. When it starts without letting me login, there is a notification saying I have 1 thing to download in the module manager, but nothing actually is showing in the manager that it can be downloaded. I dread the idea of a complete uninstall and reinstall. Am I the only one having this issue since the latest update that happened sometime in last 2 weeks?

Im going to start from scratch and try again. There is a line in the directions about copying the image files. The Capt Zeen folder needs to be copied to where? There is an images file inside there, but where do they need to end up. Which folder should go into my _Mods for the JSME program? "Copy the folder Capt_Zeen on the images folder, usualy in user/my documents/helios/images"

I dont know it its even a thought, but I would love some sort of an option to do an assisted in flight refueling. I am having alot of frustrating times, trying to get good at it. Id love to option to just get in the pre hook up position, then have some sort of autopilot option to fly it in and hold it. Of the choices listed, Id say gotta be the "Harpoon"

Since the last patch, all 3 mfds are so blurry they cant be read... only on my second monitor with touch screen. My main screen mfds are fine. I did try lowering the numbers for the blurr and thickness of lines. It did not change. Thank you for any advice. I have also tried the download that clears up MFDs, adds red to bottom one... my mfds on main screen look perfect, but second is so blurry that it cant be read.

I have a dumb question, but is it possible that my Ikarus profile is messing with my controller input. Since I got Ikarus working, the F18C has so much rise, that countering it with full down will not level the plane. If its possible its causing this, what can I do to fix? Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok saved as "Bryans Hornet", still just getting the viewports, well 4 of them, on second display. None of the images of cockpit are coming up. I believe I have the images in the file specified, I am going to check and make sure I dont have more than one location that has the images. I have the images in user/documents/helios. I would think that I should see all the images for the other stuff that is already in Helios in the same folder, I do not.

I have done that, but did not change name.... Ill try that now.

Ive tried adjusting the placements of viewports, now i get an error loading profile on the control center start. I notice that in helios profile editor there is not dcs f18 listed, only the black shark. I went back and reinstalled f18b profile, it will run again, but only my viewports show. I may just try to use helios and see if i can just make left and right mfd with buttons....but I would love to get your profile running. Looks great.

My main monito is 3840 x 2160, second is 1366 x 768. I only really have the MFds viewports close, I still need to move the other stuff around. I stopped because it looked like I was totally missing something. Im not as proficient with computers as I should be. Thank you, yes I am currently attempting to get helios to work. I got all the viewports to work, but none of the beautiful artwork and buttons to appear. Still trying though.

I am trying, but must be doing something wrong. Followed the text document. Ive got theviewports close, but only the viewports are visible. None of the buttons or switches are showing up on 2nd monitor. Ive checked locations of lua files, they are where it says to put them. Any advice would be much appreciated. It looks so awesone, really looking forward to getting it going.

Id like to put f10 map on my second monitor, or the MFDs if they were clickable. I cant find information on viewport for the F10 map. I think the ULTRAMFD would be great if they had the F18 version ready. Can anyone point me to what info I need to write into LUA file in order to have F10 map on second monitor?

I would like to set up my second monitor which is1366x768 with both MFDs or with the f10 Map, or if possible that it could do both would be great. My primary monitor is 3840x2160. I would appreciate any help or suggestions. There are some good guides and info available, but not finding anything to do with F18 multiple monitors.
