  8. it is to confirm that the problem is not rare, many people has encountered it, and to illustrate with one more screen and my graphic specs
  9. because I missread the wind value, thought it was only 9 knots and not 39 ! and with 9 knots such effect was not realisitic... sorry ! and the possiblility of a bug in the mission could exist... and with jpg of outside view it is more easy to understand for other people...

Starting form runway, cold start, 9 knots of wind, bad weather. all choper is cold ! only batt 1 and 2 are on, nothing else parking brake, joystick centered, no input, Just release rotor brake : rotor will turn at something between 30 to 45 RPM !!!!! Just re press rotor brake : blades slowing down... then bumping up and down with elasticity... then cross between up and down ... and finally broke.... I don't think it is realist !!!! made at start from STP Dragon's Training missions to test the missions...
  14. great amount of free ram and swap file on Ramdisk implies shorter times for loading, but you can't go below 3 sec to load a mission on my rig, it is CPU lmited I suppose : game launched from mapped Ramdisk, no swapfile (500Mo fixed, and less than 20% used), 8 Go still free physical RAM, (test with 24 Go total) i7-430 @ 4GHz, 24 Go RAM, Sata3 Raptor
  15. updated with different tests : BS2 launch with 2-2.5 Go RAM free (physical or including swap file) and runs fine with 4 Go free physical. mission loading needs about 0.5 Go more than game game don"t launch correctly if less than 2 Go free RAM (physical or including swap file)

Please, can someone confirm what are the exact install paths keys in registry you have to edit to activate a multi install of BS2 (one is DVD clean, and one other is for squad online, and another to test mods and so on...) and project to have another one on Ramdisk... therefore I want to make a .reg file (and later some script or program), I just have to click on it to edit the current active install to switch to the one I want to use. AND besides, I have BS102 too which is still active on my HD... therefore, registry editing becomes a bit risky... and on windows 7x64, many, many keys and folders.... any help appreciated !

  19. sometimes almost the same, BS1 BS102 BS200 shval control either via axes or via keys (Warthog profile) most often when overshooting target or approaching too fast at min range and max zoom maybe or with high incidence and brutal change of pitch... my feelings and memory about it... something to do with FOR limits and lost of sight
  20. on i7-930 @4GHz + 6Go RAM + Win7x64 + raptor SATA3 : 6-7 sec loaging time for mission is average, some are shorter quit time 3-6 sec adding a 1024 Mo cache to the drive (FancyCache), you win 3 sec on second load and 2-3 sec on quit. will re test soon with 24 Go RAM and Ramdisk of BS2 install and larger cache...

  25. It seems I have read in thread about BS2 delivery, that BS1 will no longer be free patched...
