didn't was it in the snapview files ?

the simpler soluce in my personnal opinion, to avoid breaking once again the community, but surely not the best soluce, regarding every people point of view, would be, if one has to pay for Nevada, would be that Nevada installs on each game, either A10 or BS2. And only A10 beta testers will benefit rebate/no charge on Nevada Doing like that, people have to pay for Nevada development, but only one time, whatever the simulator they use... and A10 and BS2 will maintain compatibility... my 2 cents... not the BEST utopic soluce, but a realistic one, and not the worse...

Hardware impacts with A10 or BS2 : look @ http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1218576&postcount=1 my advices for bugs I have solved : - no more RAM issues : BS2 need some about 4 free Go RAM to work correctly. I have Win7x64 ultimate and only 6Go... + swap file 3Go (constant)... it was too smal... upgrading to > 8 Go RAM would be a good advice, otherwise extend swap file to gain a total RAM + Swap of about 10-12 Go ! - no VRAM errors : Check you have enough VRAM for HIGH textures on HD screen and even more if multiscreen : in that case 1 Go VRAM will not be sufficient BS2 Textures High use 1.6-1.8 Go of my 2 Go VRAM with 2 screens 1920x1080 - Efficient GPU cooling : I had my GPU overheating because I had manually controled vent until last days to avoid too much noise, and it overheated after half an hour to one hour of BS2 in multiscreen... i had never had any problems before... using MSI burner control for Vent / GPU temp... no more issue... hope it may help others...

you're welcome could you please post your screens res and relative position, and your numbers in your config/monitorsetup ?
-
it is working but hard to find correct digits to place it adequaly on other screens

BS2 upgrade ? :pilotfly:
-
monitorint GPU VRAM AND CPU AND RAM I found : RAM not saturated , but my OS fixed swap file was a bit too small (3 Gb for 6 Gb RAM), I upgraded it to 6 Gb... VRAM not saturated : only 1.8 Gb used GPU overheating... not very quickly, but after half an hour... because of manuel vent speed and no enough monitoring from myself... may exxplain the issues... MSI afterburner is the best user profile driven GPU temp and vent speed driver I have found : verry efficient, more efficient and responsive than CCC overdrive or ASUS's ones... since that : no more bug for the time... will stay on alert anyway...

and what about this one ? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=81303 if phantom monitor is back... x values are ... ? (too late for me I go to sleep, will look later)

@p1kw : far apart the eye candy effect, does you really have a FPS change ?

my rig is : Win7x64 i7-930 rock stable since + 1 year @4Ghz 6 Go RAM 6950x2Gb VRAM OS : very stable, no crashes BS2 : clean install BS102 operates perfectly on same rig with Helios I run out of memory in some circumstances or crash in some missisons... didin't found the comon cause, it is worse with Helios running, but it occurs too, less often, without it... I post different crash log I had to help ... # -------------- 20111104-010416 -------------- F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\Space.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00DF43DB 01:000033DB 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 00DF43DB 0012F480 0001:000033DB F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\Space.dll ?getSun@Space@@QEAAXAEAN0@Z()+1B 00DF45BA 0012F4B0 0001:000035BA F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\Space.dll ?getSunZenithAngleR@Space@@QEAANXZ()+1A 00D5A5EC 0012F500 0001:000195EC F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\Terrain.dll ?RecalculateArgs@lStandartStructure@@KAXN@Z()+2C 00D5A7E6 0012F550 0001:000197E6 F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\Terrain.dll ?GetDrawArguments@lStandartStructure@@UEAAAEBV?$HeapVector@UDynamicParam@Graphics@@@@XZ()+46 0FF9DBFE 0012F6B0 0001:0002CBFE F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\NGModel.dll ?load@VertexFormat@model@@QEAAXAEAVIBinaryFile@io@@@Z()+1288E 00D56B54 0012F7E0 0001:00015B54 F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\Terrain.dll ?CreateObject@lObjWithLights@@SAPEAVlLandObject@@XZ()+F4 00D57561 0012F8A0 0001:00016561 F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\Terrain.dll ?CreateLights@lObjWithLights@@IEAAXXZ()+111 005379FC 0012F8D0 0001:000069FC F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\edObjects.dll ??0viObjectShapeCustom@@QEAA@AEBV0@@Z()+A1C 005380A5 0012F910 0001:000070A5 F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\edObjects.dll ??0viObjectShapeCustom@@QEAA@AEBV0@@Z()+10C5 00538BB4 0012F940 0001:00007BB4 F:\JEUX\SIMU\BS200\bin\edObjects.dll ??0viObjectShapeCustom@@QEAA@AEBV0@@Z()+1BD4 40306EED 0012F9A0 0000:00000000 4039D87F 0012FEA0 0000:00000000 4039EDDB 0012FF50 0000:00000000 77A0652D 0012FF80 0001:0001552D C:\Windows\system32\kernel32.dll BaseThreadInitThunk()+D 77C3C521 0012FFD0 0001:0002B521 C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll RtlUserThreadStart()+21 # I think too... look at ground and trees and sky

we need to find the math logic for x and y coordinates in config/monitorsetup lua file vs real physical x and y on screen... maybe in relation with aspect ratio as defined in options.lua ? not simple !

on the good way... still some work to do I have two screens 1920x1080, main is above, second below my users...options.lua : _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('7_200+Pit+Shkval+Abris+2x1920x1080Vertic'); Description = '1920x1080:pit++1920x1080=Shkval:920x690+ABRIS:600x800'; Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 1920; height = 1080; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 16/9; } } SHKVAL = -- or LEFT_MFCD Shkval ASPECT 115/78 ?? { x = 0; y = 1080; width = 990; height = 705; } ABRIS = -- or RIGHT_MFCD { x = 1276; y = 1080; width = 660; height = 805; } PVI = -- or MFCD_03 { x = 10; y = 1645; width = 224; height = 75; } UV26 = -- or MFCD_04 { x = 655; y = 1336; width = 76; height = 33; } EKRAN = -- or MFCD_05 { x = 1186; y = 1790; width = 120; height = 140; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center -- if you comment above line, main view is streched on all displays my UV_26_init.lua dofile(LockOn_Options.common_script_path.."devices_defs.lua") -- add Hellfrog dofile(LockOn_Options.common_script_path.."ViewportHandling.lua") -- end add Hellfrog indicator_type = indicator_types.COMMON -- add Hellfrog purposes = {render_purpose.GENERAL} try_find_assigned_viewport("UV26","MFCD_04") -- end add Hellfrog -------PAGE IDs------- ... my PVI_init.lua dofile(LockOn_Options.common_script_path.."devices_defs.lua") -- add Hellfrog dofile(LockOn_Options.common_script_path.."ViewportHandling.lua") -- end add Hellfrog indicator_type = indicator_types.COMMON -- add Hellfrog purposes = {render_purpose.GENERAL} try_find_assigned_viewport("PVI","MFCD_03") -- end add Hellfrog -------PAGE IDs------- ... my EKRAN_init.lua dofile(LockOn_Options.common_script_path.."devices_defs.lua") -- add Hellfrog dofile(LockOn_Options.common_script_path.."ViewportHandling.lua") -- end add Hellfrog indicator_type = indicator_types.COMMON -- add Hellfrog purposes = {render_purpose.GENERAL} try_find_assigned_viewport("EKRAN","MFCD_05") -- end add Hellfrog ... I have success to export and have it working OK on second screen, but coordintes are not OK as it should be... if someone can help optimizing... I had no succes to prnt sreen in game because it saves only mainscreen... but it really success to export abris + shval + pvi + uv26 + ekran on second screen !!! only 5-8 FPS hit / no export i put a link to a jpg of setup with different numbers than in above files, to display on mainscreen for capture with PRTSCR (I am in Alt F1 view with indicators and shval and abris removed from main view and i am working on axes graphs...) http://www.kirikoo.net/images/7Hellfrog-20111108-012417.jpg

BS2 BUG - order wingman to attack causes crash
C6_Hellfrog replied to igeighty's topic in Bugs and Problems
yes, I confirm, I think it is because radios commands have been remapped, and using old mappings from BS1 (warthog profile not updated) runs lua code to error. -
working on it... export works... need to adjust placement... still WIP...
-
yes RedX, found me too this afternoon, and confirm your mod.

Has been LUA upgraded/improved too in BS2?
C6_Hellfrog replied to Terrorvogel's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
a GOOD question.... will there be a answer ? -

some questions : is it the options.lua in mission editor/data/script the good one ? do you have this problem or a soluce : no way to sse my mouse cursor over BS2 window... no way to switch from full screen to windowed...
