Hi there, @mcplane! i have similar problem starting before summer. I have Valve Index and Quest 2 and a RTX 2080 SUPER with AMD 5600x and 32Gb of RAM. Both in single player and multiplayer and with Airlink and oculus lInk i can start a mission with very good fps values in my Quest 2 but after a while, the games have a sudden loss of fps from 45 to 14 or similar. Sometimes i can solve switiching to another window but sometimes i can not recover normal frames. When this happens i go to task administrator in W10 and see that GPU load is at 100%...when it recovers itself, it gets under 100%. Then i go back to the game and 45 are back. I have tested all the solutions given in this thread (and a lot of more solutuons)... With Index and the same environment i have solid fps and no sudden loss of frames so i have a main conclusion that is that it happens when the Quest 2 gets a temperature that makes the HMD get into a throttle state, lowering the performance and generating loss of frames. No solution for you from my side but i will keep trying because Q2 are better in image quality than Index and more confortable with BoboVR strap (only sound is worst)

Same issue here, some times recover normal fps with alt+tab and others dont recover....i have Quest 2 but have Valve Iindex too...with Valve Index i have no problem but i choose to fly with Q2 for image quality....

I have same issue, with Quest 2 and a 2080 SUPER. When i have fps drops, i switch to task administrator and see how i have GPU at 100%, and when i see less than 100% after a time, fps come back to normal status (45fps)

Hi there, which headset have you got? have you seen perfomance tab in task adminstrator to see if GPU usage goes to 100%?

Bad news for me. I have tested with Power service disabled after restart and fps loss keep happened. Soon or later my GPU goes to 100% and start the fps loss and see how the GPU ram grows to the limit (8Gb RAM in RTX 2080 SUPER) I dont know what its happening and dont know if i can solve this but how many of you have Quest 2 and NVidia My specs are: - AMD 5600X, 32 GB RAM, SSD, RTX 2080 SUPER Could you post your specs to try to extract a pattern...i think this is happening with Q2

Hello everyone. I have Valve Index and Quest 2. With Valve Index i dont have the sudden frames loss, but with the Quest 2 i have it since i have started to use with DCS. This happens to me ONLY in DCS, because i often play simracing simulators like iracing, Automobilista 2 or rFactor 2 and Quest 2 works fine but not in DCS. I have noticed when i have this sudden loss of fps, that in Taks Administrator i have the GPU at 100% when low fps happens but when go below 100% i recover the normal fps I can start a mission with Apache at 45 fps stable so my system can achieve this amount of fps, Today i have disabled the Power service and tomorrow i will test extensively to see if works or not.

Hi everybody, last week i am trying to get a good skill in guided missiles. I have made the same loadout that in the image, take off, ask for weapons ready, select a target propossed by Petrovich and the 4 first launchs works fine. Make a tone when aligned and i grant the launch and target is destroyed (4 missiles works fine). My problem is with the next 4 missiles, that are same type the last ones. No tone appears to sound and i am not able to give Petrovich order to fire. I deselect target before a thight turn and then select a target, but only works for me in the first 4 missiles...Its looks like a i need to change the active pilon to the next 4 missiles but i am looking for more info and i havent found anything about this Thanks In advance!
