  3. I really wanted to buy this module tonight but it seems the download link in the E shop is for version 1.2.12 (my dcs is version 1.2.14). Just in case the devs didn't realise and so they can get it sorted for me to buy it:)
  4. Thanks for all the replies. I remembered I've got an old usb stick in the loft not doing anything. There isn't any problem tearing it apart and rewiring new switches is there?
  5. I want to make a simple spring loaded switch that i can use for zooming in and out without having to use any of the buttons on my warthog. Any idea how i would go about making something like this cheaply?
  6. I used a car stereo amp i had sitting in the loft for years coupled to an aura bass shaker screwed to the underside of my chair. I powered it with ac to dc converter and used a 3.5mm to rca cable that i plugged into the bass output of my 5.1 audio card. Works really well and is far cheaper than a buttkicker.
  7. It's very easy to replicate. While flying turn the main autopilot breaker of and then on again. Then switch the pitch/roll channel back on and see how it handles.
  8. I'm not sure if you are quite understanding what is going on here. I can fly the mi8 just fine, the trouble comes when you try and lift a lot of weight and the generators cut out which in turn shuts off the stability system. You can switch the stability back on but the pitch channel isn't right unless you turn it back on when the heli is completely level. Do you need to be level in the real thing?
  9. Yes the centre channel. The one that doesn't have an off button.
  10. I've done a bit of testing today. It seems that if the stability system gets switched off in flight you need to be on level ground before you switch it back on again otherwise it will be set at whatever attitude you are at when it's switched back on. Not sure if this is what happens with the real thing or not.
  11. I was playing one of the campaign missions today, the one at night where you need to evacuate wounded from a convoy that had been attacked. Once the heli was loaded I tried taking off vertically but it was far too heavy. I eventually got in the air by running along the road to get some transitional lift but I must have pulled to much pitch as the stability system switched off. I got it switched back on again but every couple of minutes the heli would pitch up and id have to use some forward sick to get it level again. Any reason for this? All other channels worked as normal apart from pitch.

  13. Are these supposed to be working yet? I can get the other gun pods to work but can't get the UPK's to fire at all.
  14. The throttle used to work fine but after the last update it's gone a bit wrong. I have it mapped to the slider on the TM warthog throttle and it won't do anything until I press pageup until it goes to full throttle. After this the slider works perfectly. I have deleted and reconfigured my keyboard and joystick controls with no change.

  16. This seems like it should be a fairly easy thing to do but I can't work it out. What I want to do is when I fly near to an airfield an AI heli takes off and follows a route. The mission I have made so far has a friendly AI heli take off from one airfield and land at another. I want the AI to wait at the second airfield until I get near before taking off again. How do I do this in simply?

  20. What file and lines do I need to change to make forests and towns show up further away? I'm sure I managed to alter it before but since updating today I can't remember how to do it.

  23. I've been away and only just seen this kickstarter and have a few questions before I make any pledges. 1. If I pledge $40 what do I actually get? I understand I get the spit, p47 and 109 but what about the p51 and 190? Do I have to buy these separately? Do I get every single plane RRG ever makes? 2. When would I get these planes, terrain, missions? 3. What happens if $150000 isn't reached? 4. What happens if the developers don't come up with the goods? I feel I was burnt a bit over Cliffs of Dover with promises that never happened and a sim that was far from complete. As I understand some of the main guys developing this were the same people that developed CLOD. I don't know exactly why CLOD went the way it did but I'm more sceptical about this team now. 5. Paypal. Is it going to be possible to pledge by paypal before it's over?
