I can't turn ts up anymore. Is there a file for the wind I can adjust. I'm not fussed if it affects all modules as I only really use this one at the moment.

Any idea how to tweak it down a bit?

Is loud inside the cockpit at the minute I think due to wind noise. It's hard to hear anyone on teamspeak when flying at speed.

Ah I see. Do the numbers to the right of the tdc mean the upper and lower altitudes of my search cone?

Maybe I'm missing something fundamental here. Are you searching by moving the TDC? Does the TDC move the radar about? I though it was like a cursor and all you use it for is to select which target to lock up.

What does changing from 120 to 60 (do you mean 60 to 30) degrees do? Why do you put the tdc to 60 nm? I thought the tdc was used just to select which contact to lock.

Does anyone have any good techniques for searching using the radar? I generally set it to 80nm range and high prf. I then fly along scanning up and down. Is there anything I should be doing differently?

I was having a read through the manual the other day and saw that the cockpit lighting should work off the battery. It only works when either ground power is on or the engine is running. It the manual wrong or should it work when the battery is on?

As a Brit I would love to have the Tornado or Jaguar and can't wait for the Harrier. I also would quite like a transport plane like a c130 which could be used by multiple countries.

I had a few one on one fights today starting off against an f4 then mig29 then onto the su27. I am to be getting a lot better at it after watching the videos and putting it all into practice. You can rely tell the difference between them. The su27 was extremely difficult to shake from my 6. Another question for everyone. What is the mirages optimum corner airspeed?

I've tried shooting as soon as I'm in range but I nearly always get shot down by the enemy missile. I've tried getting to about 4.5 nm away then pulling a 90 degree turn while diving at the sane time. This seems to work reasonably well.

I've been trying to learn air to air combat recently and I'm not doing too well. Before the m2k module came along I was a strictly an air to ground and helicopter pilot. I've watched 'the art of the kill' a few times and I'm ok when I get into a fight but it's the first pass I have a problem with. Battles usually seem to start head on and I keep getting shot down by the bandit with his first missile. Assuming both aircraft are head on and only have ir missiles what is the best tactic for this situation with the mirage?

Ok, how far away does an enemy have to be for this bug? I can't remember exactly how far the bandit was but I couldn't lock him until I got a lot closer.

I've noticed this the last few days and wondered what was wrong.

So if a enemy plane pops up over the mountains within say 20 miles does this mean I can't lock it immediately?

I would love a glossary of the rwr symbols too.

2 questions If I lock an aircraft while in PID mode will the aircraft I'm locking know I'm locking them on their RWR? Should this radar be able to tell what type of aircraft I have locked?

Sounds good to me. I was thinking of going to the red side to get back into the ka50 but didn't want to miss the m2k. Now the red side is very appealing. Any chance of more AI?
