So if a enemy plane pops up over the mountains within say 20 miles does this mean I can't lock it immediately?

2 questions If I lock an aircraft while in PID mode will the aircraft I'm locking know I'm locking them on their RWR? Should this radar be able to tell what type of aircraft I have locked?

Sounds good to me. I was thinking of going to the red side to get back into the ka50 but didn't want to miss the m2k. Now the red side is very appealing. Any chance of more AI?

I didn't say you had to use the AI. Would it be possible for it to be an option to have a wingman.

For the next round would it be possible to have an AI wingman for every player. Not sure if this is possible or anyone else agrees, just putting it out there.

Help me out here, I'm still confused. I'm having a hard time finding targets sometimes even when there are within 10 miles. If I'm flying towards the battle and looking for targets. Which mode is best? Once I'm in a close fight what mode should I use then?

Cheers. I worked out ph was the kub am after I kept getting shot down by then in blue flag. It does that the rer icons aren't the same as other aircraft. Zeus any chance of a list?

Oh really. Didn't realise the chopper lives were separate. I'm not saying there should be less fighters either. I love the mirage but am always getting shot down and using up my 4 lives. Didn't realise I could still play on in a helicopter.

I've played this a few times now and can see 3 slight problems with the current set up. 1. There are loads of su27's and f15's which makes it very hard for the slower aircraft. I know team work is the key for this mission but is still very hard defending in an a10 against an su or mig. 2. 4 lives aren't enough, for a rubbish pilot like me anyway. 3. Not many people use the transport helicopters. How about this? You still have 4 lives but once these have run out you get another 4 but you can only use the transport choppers. What do you think?

So is it best to leave it in medium until you get into a fight then switch to high? Is it even working properly yet?

Can someone explain to me the prf modes please. I'm not sure when use the different modes and what they do differently.

Are you sure they aren't fake targets from jamming aircraft on the radar screen? The real target will have numbers next to it the fake ones are just a V.

I can't fire either magic. I've tried swapping which missile is fired but it stays on the right missile in the hud and won't change.

Thanks for that. They are different though. For example a shilka zsu23 has the symbol 23 and not A.

Is there a list of the mirages rwr icons anywhere? On multiplayer today I got locked by a PH symbol in a square and don't know what it was.

Sounding great now. I think the engine at idle should be increased a bit though. How accurate is the RWR sounds?

Lol. I know how to move the slider. What I was trying to do was to be able to see the grass/clutter at the furthest distance but more spread out. So there are clumps of grass rather than grass everywhere.
