Have you ever noticed who the pilot is at 323? Quite a few big names in that film.

Sorry to keep giving you extra work but have you thought about adding dead flies? A few squished bugs on the screen would be even more imersive imo.

Just though i'd check back in and say thanks for all your advise. I've got the I5 3570k and p8z77-v lx installed now with a decent heatsink and fan. It's so much better than the old amd 955 and even though they are both 4 core cpu's the stock (3.4 ghz) i5 is about double the speed of my 3.8 overclocked 955. I've overclocked it to 4.1 ghz but it doesn't seem to want to go any higher despite the multiplier being at 43. More research needed.

No photos but there was a glass mod for the ka50 with scratches from the wipers that looked really good.

Great mod although it doesn't seem to work with the un skin. Would it be possible to make one with even more scratches with some that follow the arc of the wipers?

I find it much easier to fly now with it set to 0.

I think i've decided on the i5 3570K but what motherboard to go for. The local shop tried to sell me a gigabyte one but i've had them before and wasn't that impressed they don't seem to be the easiest for overclocking either. I'm looking at Asus now but can't really tell if one is better than the other. Would something like this do the job? http://www.maplin.co.uk/asus-intel-p8h77-v-le-628888

Is there any reason why I couldn't put my ddr3 ram in an intel motherboard? Looks like an i5 3570k is tyre way to go. Do motherboards make much difference? Is there certain ones I should go for?

Works fine on my warthog. Make sure you pull the trigger all the way in to the second switch for vhf otherwise you are using the interphone. I've also found i can't get landing clearance. I think it may have something to do with the huey not having any wheels, with the A10 you only get clearance when the wheels are down.

Ok what about putting in the best quad core I can use with my motherboard? It looks like it would be an AMD phenom 2 x 4 980 3.7 ghz. If I got the black edition I could overclock it to what 4.2 ish ghz. I'd rather not change the board, ram and cpu again. Would that be a good option? It would be alot cheaper too.

It's not just for DCS, I use Arma 3 and CLOD a fair bit too. I've always stuck with AMD and haven't got a clue about intel.

Sometimes i'm finding the sim bogging down a bit to around 20fps when thre is a lot going on. I have an amd 955 quad core cpu overclocked to 3.82 ghz and an nvidia gtx 560ti. I can upgrade one or the other and would like to know which one to do first. Is it worth getting an octo core 4.2 ghz cpu or something like a gtx 660ti?

Could we not just have a small symbol in one corner only when autopilot is on? I don't think we really need info about weapon status at all as you can tell what you are firing by the position of the switches. I've turned it off as it gets in the way for me.

I've got it mapped to the friction axis on my warthog. It works perfectly for me in the full range.
