I know it's a beta and not everything works as it should but will they ever engage targets? I seem to remember a blackhawk's gunners firing at me once in a ka50 so I assume it's possible. Would be great to have a bit of interaction from the rest of the crew.
It was already mapped to one of my throttle axis but I don't know what it does apart from reducing engine speed. Also how do you move the m60 door guns? I can switch to the gunners position and fire but the guns won't move.
I've got a phenom 2 955 3.2 ghz BE too. I overclocked mine to 3.8 about 6 months ago and not had any problems at all, I am using an upgraded coolermaster heatsink and fan though. It doesn't give a massive boost but it was well worth doing.
All done and it works really well. I had to get a cheap soundcard with a separate subwoofer output so I could adjust the intensity of the vibrations but it seems pretty good. Shame simvibe isn't avalible for DCS.
As you have 240volts ac i'm guessing you could be from the UK so this one should do in 10 Amp form.

I'm planning on using a car amp to power it and using a computer psu to run the amp. If I didn't fit a new sound card would it be best to fit a low pass filter before the amp so the shaker only moves with the bass?
I have heard good things about tactile transducers or bass shakers and want to make my own. A buttkicker would be great but i'd rather try and save a lot of money and make one myself. Amazon has sine live bass pump 3's that seem really cheap. Could I connect this up to an amp bolt it the the underside of my chair and use it in the same way as a buttkicker? I also only have 1 line out on my motherboard for audio which goes to a subwoofer and then has a left and right output for the desktop speakers. Would it be best to get a cheap soundcard that splits everything up?
Yes you do need it, simple as that. Once you get used to it it will be the best thing you have ever bought for your pc. I have a tir4 that works perfectly well. I've never tried the tir5 so can't make a comparison.
I didn't realise until last night after watching a programe about prince Harry, we have them too. Seems we only have 11 which are 412's but called the Griffin by the RAF
How hard would it be for thrustmaster to make a new stick that replaces the a10s. Obviously the throttle would stay the same but you would have a replica fa18 stick alot cheaper than replacing the whole lot.
Like an idiot i have managed to pull the wires out of the circuit board on my warthog stick. Does anyone have a picture of the circuit board on the underside of the stick base so i can solder them back on in the right order please?
